Stayed in a two bedroom unit, very spacious with large bathroom and a second toilet, also washing machine and dryer. Bedrooms were spacious and beds comfortable each with a tv. The unit was very clean with everything we needed. Situated well away from the road so very quiet with ample parking. Definitely recommend staying here.

Clean spacious with everything we needed

After being let day by another motel, giving away our room, we were so relieved to find this motel, from the time we arrived we were happy we were staying here, the customer service from the owners is outstanding, an the staff next morning were as well, you can tell they are happy working here! The apartment we stayed in had everything including its own washing machine an dryer, the unit was spotless, well done to everyone, the only let down, we tried to book for the next night but they were already fully booked, no surprises there!

cleanliness: this motel is very clean, well recommended to all people who likes tidy and clean accomodations. Staff did ana amazing cleaning in the room and bathroom.

Location: close to city center, very accessible and just beside the gas station, close to Waitomo gas for cheap fuel.

summary: Well recommended to everyone, and have your own parking by your door step. I'll be coming back next time I'm around in palmy.

well recommended to all travelers

Very welcoming staff but somewhat surprised at lack of face coverings. Even more noticeable as no interest in vaccination passes (understand that but would have thought masks even more valid in an enclosed reception area when status unknown and dealing with travellers). Moving beyond that staff certainly welcoming…just when travelling it is a noticeable issue… The unit was exactly what we were expecting - clean, comfortable and bright with everything expected for a short stay. Bed was comfortable however layout of complex meant noise from other units and road noise. Overall great value and if the unit at our bedhead had not had the TV on all night our stay would have been greatly improved. Would stay at again but something to be conscious of. Note also a high school is over the fence so expect school bells during school terms.

Clean, comfortable and bright units - accessible parking - located near busy road

I recently stayed for one night at the Comfort Inn Kauri Court in Palmerston North. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family if they were looking for somewhere to stay in Palmy for a night or two. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, the cleanliness of the room was excellent and the bed was extremely comfortable. An easy 10 minute walk to The Plaza.

Friendly, clean and convenient

Excellent is the only word I can use.Thank u so much for giving us the last room,rooms were so clean and beds so comfortable.We all loved our stay here and specially the spa bath so comforting after so long day.

The only tiny problem was when we returned back late night we couldn’t find a car park so had to use disable parking and than early morning moved our car.

Would definitely won’t think twice to book here again.loved this place



Excellent experience 

Comfort Inn Kauri Court in Palmerston North is everything it says it is! Clean, comfortable, excellent shower, spacious bathroom and vanity. The kitchen is well appointed and lounge has comfortable chairs, and a fabulous bed. The price is great. We're returning at the end of March for more Comfort!

Comfort for sure!

Comfortable, quiet room. Very clean. Excellent towels and a good shower with a nice range of complimentary toiletries. Comfortable bed and a good night's sleep. Easy 15 minute walk into town but also a bus stop close by. Does exactly what a motel should do.

Friendly, comfortable stay

My wife and I stayed here for one night whilst doing a North Island trip. Room 1 was a large (executive) studio with a full kitchen, comfy bed (plus another single), good shower, heat pump. Well located near the city and priced competitively. 


Just one night

The second time that we have stayed at this excellent motel. Very comfortable, spacious room with very large cosy bed. Convenient parking outside your room. Good clean decor. Very friendly and accommodating owner and staff. We thoroughly recommend this motel and would certainly stay here again.
