We spent 3 nights here and enjoyed every minute. Lynsey told us about the bests restaurants and attractions, and was spot on with every recommendation. The breakfasts were excellent, maybe the best we've ever had (we've stayed at hundreds of BnBs). The room was comfortable, and views of the lake were great. I highly recommend this BNB.

Exceptional hosts

We had a lakeside room with a lovely view of the lake and hundreds of black swans. The room was great as was the breakfast. Lindsay and Graham were very helpful with information about sites and restaurants. A little outside of Rotorua so very quite but also very convenient

Room with a view

3 of us stayed in this cottage for two nights. It is located in the entrance of the owners property, but is entirely self-contained and private, with its own car port.
The quality and cleanliness of the accommodation was good, the beds were comfortable and the washing machine a bonus. The hosts are very welcoming and we found the ‘breakfast pack’ to be generous and comprehensive.
The location is great, and we loved everything it has to offer.
We would highly recommend this accommodation.

Perfect self contained accommodation close to all sites of interest, but without the Rotorua smell!

We stayed at this lodge a week ago and what a pleasure it was to stay here. We stayed in the ground floor apartment and felt we hit the jackpot. I wish my own home was as well supplied as this lodge was. The location is excellent being right on the lake and only a short drive to Rotarura. You can hear a bit of noise upstairs at times but no problem at alll. If we ever return to NZ we would put this on our return trip list.

Excellent stay

We stayed with Lindsay and Graham at their lakeside lodge which is approx 8 minutes drive from Rotorua. The lodge is situated on a trout fishing lake and provides superb relaxing views. 
The room was exceptionally clean but for us the highlight of our 3 night stay was the exceptional friendly hospitality that Lindsay and Graham provided. They had time to chat, then discuss what things we were interested in,helped arrange and gave advice of where best to visit then was interested in our reviews of the activities. 
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rotorua with these exceptional hosts. We would recommend this to our family and friends.
