I've been lucky enough to spend the weekend with my friend in this beautiful B&B, the room was modern, clean with a beautiful view. Ann & John were very nice to talk to and really enjoy what they are doing, breakfast was delicious and we had great recommendations for our activities... Local experience is a must have when you travel in Aotearoa. Thanks a lot to both of you and see you next time i come down to Taupo

Anne is most accommodating and helpful host that I've ever encountered at a B&B. Her B&B is 6 stars on a five star scale. I can't imagine what more she could do to improve it. A perfectly comfortable, spacious room and bathroom with fridge, coffee, tea, wine glasses, milk and an excellent breakfast. As a  B&B it is five stars.  But the sixth star is for Anne herself.  Before our arrival, we let Anne know we'd be doing the Tongariro crossing the next day.  She had a hearty in-room breakfast made for us, and sandwiches and fruit for our journey - everything we needed to set off for the day stress free. Her advice for dinner options and her company and conversation, equally spot-on.  Thank-you so very much. 

Simply The Best

Amazing, excellent, perfect.  We were warmly greeted by Ann with home baked treats and a cuppa.  Given maps and suggestions on what to see and do as well as eating recommendations.  Our room with ensuite had everything you could want and more, including a safe, robes, more baking, hair dryer, etc, etc.  Everything was immaculate and just beautiful.  Kingsize bed was very comfortable.  Great location and view.  Very peaceful spot with our own private courtyard.  Breakfast was incredible and set us up for the day.  So glad we stayed here and just wish it was more than the one night.  Ann and John were excellent hosts.  The best B&B we have ever stayed in.  Can't recommend enough.  Thanks also Ann for your recipe tips.  I already made a batch of kisses.  Thanks so much.

Perfection. We have stayed in many bed and breakfasts over the years and B&B@Number Ten is right there at the top. Ann and John are wonderful hosts, great conversationalists, full of very helpful recommendations. Their house is beautiful, modern, comfortable and well equipped in a peaceful residential location with lovely views to the lake. Breakfast was delicious, as were the homemade cakes each day, and set us up very well for each day's adventures. Could not recommend this bed and breakfast more highly.

Just what a B&B should be - wonderful

Really lovely stay; the hosts Ann and John were great, so welcoming and helpful. The accommodation is really clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were a real treat. The location is also really good and I highly recommend staying there.

Stay at No.10

We enjoyed our 1 night stay here, the B&B was in a quiet neighbourhood and we had a good night’s sleep in the king size comfortable bed. We stayed in The Lake View Room. It was walking distance to the Edgewater Restaurant on the lake albeit uphill on the way back! We enjoyed a good chat over breakfast with the friendly owners. 

Excellent B&B walking distance from the lake

We stayed here for just one night en route from Wellington to Waitomo and wished we had stayed for much much longer. Ann was an incredible hostess, breakfasts were tasty and more than ample. We were greeted with cakes and refreshments, a super view of lake Taupo from our room and great advice on what to do and see in the area. It couldn’t have been improved upon and couldn’t recommend it any higher. The whole place was immaculate

Fantastic stay

I explored Taupo and the area around for five days and had the great pleasure to stay at the B&B@10 during that time. Anne and John are fantastic hosts who make you feel just like you’d be at home. Everything was perfect. Thanks again for all! Andreas
