It is a lovely park. Even though it was a busy holiday weekend the park was very quiet and clean. It is a great location, very close to the beach and the shops. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay at Pacific Park.

Great Park

This place is amazing! Wonderful facilities close to the tent site. The place was so clean. And we really enjoyed the cinema, especially when we booked it for our own family. The cafe was great and the pool was very popular. And the beach was quite close too. Great all round!

A fabulous place for a fun peaceful family holiday

This is our 3rd time here, always a great relaxing place to stay, the motel rooms are very clean and a nice design, close to the beach, love the hot pool and friendly staff.  Awesome place to unwind. 

Great place to stay

Lovely park, well taken care of! It has a beautiful hot pool which was a nice surprise on a cold winters day! Chuck and his family are lovely hosts and we are definitely going to be back! Next time might bring the kids since they is a trampoline and a Minigolf course as well!

Our family of 5 Stayed 3 nights during July school holidays. It was an Awesome spot for a family holiday! Great facilities (recently renovated), comfortable & clean, close to beach, quiet setting. We'll be back!

Awesome!

We stayed 1 night in a motel room whilst travelling between Taupo and Waihi.  Safe to say this park exceeded our expectations for the price.  Fully equipped, and immaculate inside, 5 minute walk to the beach and takeaway shops.  100% would stay again.

Really tidy Park

First stay for us at Pacific Park and despite the rain we played boardgames with friends and the kids loved the bouncing pillow! Our Cabin was immaculate and had all we needed for an enjoyable and peaceful few days away - highly recommend if you want a restful getaway in a place the whole family can enjoy!

Super friendly and enjoyable family stay!

We held our family camp here (again!) from 20 - 23 January 2023. It was great to be back again after missing last year due to Covid-19 issues. We really enjoyed our stay last time and were pleased to see a number of upgrades this time. There was a new lick of paint in the main lodge, a new flat-screen TV in the main seating area of the lodge and the rooms had been revamped too. The addition of a bouncy pillow for the kids in the playground was great as was the new Cafe for young and old. 

There were over 50 in our group spread out over a lodge, 2 cabins, 2 villas and a couple of powered campsites. Everyone was very happy with their accommodation and our hosts were readily available and happy to help. The cleaning staff did a great job keeping everything spic and span so a big shout-out to them too.

Had a great Family Camp at Pacific Park

Four generations of our family stayed during our time at Pacific Park this year.  Our grandchildren couldn’t wait to attend the holiday programme, a highlight for them.  My 89 year old father loved watching his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren enjoy an uncomplicated New Zealand holiday. The cafe was a great addition to the park this year, real fruit ice-creams a hit with the family.  We really appreciate the work the staff put in to making the facilities clean and very well maintained.  In spite of the rain we appreciate the peace, space and progressive venue.  See you next year.

Peaceful, spotless and fantastic staff

Superb campsite - well run. Pity about the rain but apparently they don't control that aspect in the office. The powered campsites are much bigger than on a normal campground, which means there is plenty of space for big tents and to spread out. Nice to make friends with the others around, some of whom return year after year.
