It is excellently located in the centre of Wellington within walking distance of the main tourist attractions.  However, we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the seating area in particular.  It was also extremely dark in all except for the main living area, though this looked out onto another high rise block.  We also found that noise travelled from the other apartments which made it difficult to sleep at night.

So close to all amenities, supermarket, restaurants, etc. Just off Lambton Quay so s a great location. Good kitchen with all facilities,laundry and dryer in the bathroom. Ideal for that break in Wellington

We booked a 2 bedroom. We were on the 8th floor. The apartment had a small lounge area, a bathroom with shower and toilet in the same room and 2 separate bedrooms. The bedrooms were very small and not much space at all for your luggage. One bedroom had the bed under the window and the curtains were above your head. The other bedroom had a storage system rack that was over the corner of the bed. So you had to be very careful getting into bed and not bumping into the rack. And you need to remember it’s there if you get up in the night as it protrudes. Not ideal. Location wise great and ok for an overnight stay. I wouldn’t want to stay longer than a one night stay. 

Small rooms but great location 

In a great location for walking around. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment and found it clean, with a good kitchen, and large lounge. The white towels were fluffy and so bright they must have been new. The apartment was dated, and the buildings around it prevented any view, and the kids bedrooms were small all we needed. 
It was advertised as 2 bathrooms and there was only 1, this was a disappointment as the neophews would have thought it special to have had their own bathroom.

Clean and a great location

I've been commenting to Wellington for business over the last three months and have spent about 60% of my nights in apartments here.

The apartments are basic but fully functional. The kitchen allows you to shop for fresh food and cook for yourself. The bathroom has a washing machine and dryer. They will leave a drying rack in your room, which allows you to wash and dry your close as you go.

The rooms at the front, on Brandon Street have good natural light and a wee balcony you can open the doors on. The back rooms do get light but it is limited due to the buildings next door.

The staff are friendly and accommodating. They are a phone call away as there is no reception, however they are very responsive.

Great location

Really, really disappointing accomodation. We booked two 2 bedroom apartments for a family trip travelling with 2 babies and there is so much wrong with our accommodation I’ve written a list to warn future travellers! Do not book Aspect apartments in Wellington! Here is a few things we had issues with during our stay. 

- appartments were dirty (dust everywhere, and mould on the walls)
- blood stains on the towels 
- no plug for the kitchen sink 
- no power to the ENTIRE bathroom
- broken toaster 
- faulty powerpoint in kitchen 
- washing machine & dryer unable to be used because of no power to bathroom 
- other washing machine was flooded and water on the floor. 

One of the main reasons I booked these appartments was the fact that they had washing machines and dryers in the room. Out of the two appartments we only had 1 dryer that worked. Very frustrating when travelling with babies and this is a high priority feature we were relying on. We arrived at after 7pm after a huge day of travel to find these issues and had to call the duty manager they said that someone would be sent to fix both washing machines and dryer at 9am the next morning and that if they couldn’t be fixed they would pay to have our clothes washed. 

We wanted to be out and about before 9am but instead sat around waiting for maintenance, and they never showed! After 10am we went out and only by chance we had to return to the apartment and maintenance showed up at 130pm. 4.5hra late and all he said was that one washing machine was waiting on new parts meaning they already knew it was broken and still gave us the room and the earliest the other could be fixed wasn’t until another 3days which is useless to us who were only staying 2 nights.

Cannot wait to never stay here again! Awful accomodation. Only positive is it’s proximity to the CBD. Would definitely NOT recommend!! 

Atrocious!

Got a code to get my key from the lock box (they don't have a reception) and everything worked. Dropped my stuff and returned to my room 2 hours later to find a friendly Gentleman on the couch who was given the same room. We figured it out with management who came to apologize (incl. free chocolate) and gave another room to tenant number two. Location is key with Aspect Apartments, super close to the waterfront and main attractions like cable car and museums. The place could definitely need a renovation but was spacious with kitchen and TV as well as laundry / dryer. Parking as in each city is annoying and you either have to go downstairs every few hours to extend parking or pay to get into one of the parking garages not so close by. Definitely challenging but location makes up for it.

Messed up the booking but otherwise fine

Aspect apartments are centrally located, half a block from frequent public transport and easy walk to waterfront, Te Papa and lively areas of Courtney place and Cuba Mall. Thee are plenty of dining and shopping options near by, including a supermarket.

The apartment is a little tired, but value for money. Has 2 bedrooms and good sized living area with full kitchen. 

Only downside is very noisey airconditioning from neighbouring building, fortunately this switched off overnight.

Convenient location, good sized 2 bedroom apartment

I stayed here for five nights, the first in one of the back apartments- which I quickly vacated as they have windows that look into a brick wall and the room is gloomy and claustrophobic.  The room at the front was much better with a balcony overlooking Brandon Street.  The actual apartment however is really tired and badly in need of a complete makeover.  The next day I contacted the reception - which incidentally is not at Aspect Apartments - and asked why my room hadn’t been serviced?  They said they don’t service the rooms - in spite of their website and the signage that says the rooms are serviced.   I am used to hotels that have reception staff because when I check out I leave my luggage there for the day.  They suggested I take my luggage to one of their other apartments in Wellington - not really an option for me.  On the plus side - the apartment was roomy and had a washing machine and dryer and a good kitchenette.  The entrance to the apartments is really rough and simply needs a good clean up.  The location is really central - in the same block as David Jones Department store.  Because they don’t service the rooms or have a reception on site I won’t be staying here again.

Quite run down

Everything was top notch with Aspect Apartments. There were 5 of us who stayed for 2 nights and we found the apartment spacious, exceptionally clean, well appointed  and very quiet. If I ever visit Wellington again, Aspect Apartments will be my first choice for accommodation. Excellent location right in the city and a great restaurant next door.
