A mixed bag.  The guy at reception was as friendly and helpful as could be.  Rooms (we took 2 - 6g and h) were clean and had kitchenette but very differentl layouts and sizes.  There were some stairs in weird places  so not suitable for people with accessibility issues.  Rooms werr clean and reasonably modern.  Single glazed windows - so a refular hum of noise, but nit bad.  There was a weird smell in the corridors and both rooms - not sure what it was - but with windows open it dissipated and we got used to it surprisingly quickly.   Rooms were clean.  Internet was good. Parking was extremely tight and inconvenient.  Location was just above the city, so no great access during the day (using elevator shortcuts to Lampton quay) - a bit of a walk uphill at night though).    It was fairly inexpensive so good value for money.

A mixed bag, but good enough.

Couch so dirty you couldn't sit on it.
Plasterwork on walls not finished.

Happy staff
Place has been left to degrade 
Opening the bathroom window was a health Hazzard.



Book somewhere else

The place is tiered and considering that the accommodation was $200/per room you really wonder what these places can charge. The hallway smelled like a kitchen floor and the furniture/bedding is damaged and very, very old … running this place under the Quest umbrella is brand damaging…

Old, smelly and not worth the price they call …

I was disappointed that this non smoking room smelt strongly of stale cigarette smoke. I would confront the previous occupant/smoker and charge their credit card. The manager needed to take steps to get rid of it, such as putting some vanilla essence in saucers around the room and opening some windows at least.

Smelt of Smoke

Arrived and no one in office. No WIFI code incorrect and when i tried to ring office phone would not work. Used my own phone and contact person said they would call me back that night. Got a returned call  10.00 am the next day. Toilet had a drain in it and it smelt foul. air conditioning unit really noisey so had to turn off then stinking hot room .

Would not recommend.

Not sure where to start here..
This was not what I expected…
The room was extremely basic with very poor ammenities 
Lounge was very basic with worn out hard furniture. Next to no view, lots of road noise and some weird fan going all night.
Would I go back… no

Not a good stay

The room was lovely and clean, the staff very accommodating and the bed extremely comfy. Only down side was it was very noisy at night...the location in the CBD allowed us to walk to all Wellington city 'must see' attractions.

Very convenient location

Wouldn't stay here again. Room smelt like cigarettes quite run down.  Very loud can hear everything. Woke up feeling like I had smoked a packet of cigarettes and I dont smoke.  Room was cramped and odd shape.

Poor

Arrive at this place at 10am today (04/10/20) door was locked and receptionist starred at me through the window with a blank look on her face, this was the start. Parking is terrible, you need to be switched on not to crash into something. Check in was at 2 so asked if l could check in earlier, they said it would be ready by 1. Came back at 1.30 and nothing had been cleaned. Out of generosity l gave them 25 minutes to sort the room out or l was leaving. 2 o’clock room in the same state. Made them refund me on the spot. This was the only good thing they did for us. The place is a disaster, staff are clueless. The place looks like half of it is social housing rented out to degenerates. Do yourself a favour pay a little more and forget this place exists.

Do not stay here

Disappointed with the stay. Parking dreadful,a daily charge and limited to only a few small cars and staff had their own cars taking up room, although they had spaces outside for their cars.Trying to get out of the garage  could be dangerous if there is a fire as roller door does not easily or readily respond to opening up. Husband took close to half an hour to get out of the garage, and no one from reception responded to help. There are stairs from the reception up to the lift, stairs again in the corridor to the room and stairs again actually IN the room. Suitcases have to be dragged up and down. Stairs up from the parking garage or a long walk around the block. Small rooms, no air con, traffic noise and a dryer that needs a university degree to use......hopeless. Iron cheap.No ventilation in bathroom. Dirty sock under single bed, obviously not cleaned properly. It would seem this is an old place re invented as a Quest, but not done well. Needs to be double glazed. Would not stay here again. Staff were polite.

Not a good stay and certainly not for anyone who doesnt like stairs or is disabled.
