My first time at las Brisas was in April 2019.  Very impressed with everything.  Back in Matagalpa and Las Brisas was at the top of my list.  I just spent another few nights there.  I commend the staff for their attentiveness, helpfulness and genuine care.  Alfredo is a sweetheart.  I am ashamed that I forget the names of the others. Very clean and comfortable rooms.  Good location. Great breakfast. Excellent value.  Highly recommend.

We found that his boutique hotel to be excellent, The personal service was friendly and Alfred the young receptioninist was very active in whatever the needs of incoming or existing guests may need. The rooms were an ample size , simple very clean and c ofortable.   BUT, and this is not the fault of the owners, there were some steps on the way to some of the rooms that were very high and difficult to navigate.   In the bathrooms there was no shower towel rail which could have been used as a an aide and help to hold onto and its a matter of time before someone falls.   We give it it three tour stars .

If you visit Matagalpa and you want to stay in a nice, good pricing, friendly service hotel, this is a place to consider. 

The rooms and confortable and very clean.  They offer tipical breakfast included. Wifi is good.

For me service resulted to be above average for Nicaragua.

15 bedroom- Friendly and professional service 

This to me was a real find in Matagalpa after a very bad experience at another nearby hotel which was not 3 stars and was filthy and mold ridden. You do need to read the reviews here. I was warned here but went ahead anyway. Wrong!  BUT Brisas was a Godsend and they even sent the lovely Assistant Manager Suzy - an angel to my rescue and she hailed a cab and the hotel paid to rescue me by cab. How about that for service!  The room was lovely - go for an a/c room when it is warm there. The hotel  was a real 3 star hotel for this region and I stayed a full week.

This is a very nice small hotel. It's very clean!  Usually in Matagalpa,  hotels smell like mold.... you won't any humidity in this hotel,  I really appreciate that.  
Staff is very friendly.  
Breakfast is great!  
AC is worth it only if weather is too  hot.

Brisas Hotel is located right near the cathedral (the center of town) and many restaurants and shops.  The rooms are clean, have AC and free wifi, and a nice breakfast is included.  The staff and owners were wonderful, and very friendly - one guy (Gil) even brought me mangoes from his house when I was telling him how much I liked them and how they were hard to get at home!  We really enjoyed our stay there, and if we are in Matagalpa will stay there again.
