This is an old original homestead from one of the early landowners here. They have a few cottages, and some rooms in the main building. Rooms in the main building are quite small, and could really use a freshening. The cottages are much nicer, and only cost a wee bit more. There is a restaurant/bar in the main building, and the food is pretty good.  I really could not figure out the billing , one time we would pay cash, no tax, the next we would get a bill from the cashier, that included the taxs? The wait staff was nice, but everyone else is not that friendly really, the cashier lady especially, who has a very short memory it seems. While we were there the weather was kind of stormy and windy, so the lake level was high and there was really no beach, but when calm, it may be nice for swimming. Not much to do here, but would be better with good weather. The power was going out all the time, and they have no generator back up. The management never even offered a candle or flashlights or anything to navigate from the cottage to the restaurant at night.I would not stay there again, there are better options nearby.

We booked this accommodation at the last minute through another hotel so did not have many options. We arrived at night and were shown an awful, filthy room that felt like a cave. The second room we were shown was across the street from the main accommodation and felt remotely less cave-like so we took it out of desperation. I could not sleep that night due to the mold and the heat. There is AC but it hardly works and the windows are barred and even if you wanted to open them you couldn't with the mosquitos. The beds are awful; we were all in pain the next day. The restaurant was also pretty dire. They gave us a corked bottle of overpriced wine and didn't care. I am a huge traveler and am used to staying in a wide range of accommodation (from hostels to resorts) but this was one of the worst experiences I have had. We left the next morning and didn't look back. This place is cheap but you can absolutely find better for the price.

Terrible experience/not recommended!

Stayed here with two friends in July. I heard it was "okay" from friends so I wasn't expecting much, and that's about what we got. The air conditioning was great and I like that the WiFi spanned most of the resort (except in our room, which was across the street). Unfortunately, most of the staff (the front desk especially) were very unfriendly and seemed very disinterested in helping customers, although the wait staff were okay. The food was average and the beach was small, although the view and location between the volcanoes was ideal and you could walk to other beaches nearby if desired. I did not like the bathroom in our suite, it was small, dirty, and strongly in need of upgrades as the wall was peeling and the shower head leaked. The room itself was small as well and the bed sheets were stained although they smelled clean. If I returned to Ometepe, I would stay at one of the many other hostels nearby before returning here.

Can Definitely Find Better

We stayed for three nights in clean rooms with good air conditioning. The hotel is close to the natural springs but about 45 minutes drive from Moyogalpa. The restaurant served delicious food. The mignon is a must try! All staff working there were extremely helpful, organising activities for us. And very patient with our big group. Barmen Freddy and Kerwing put great effort into making tasty cocktails 😊

We stayed two nights, the places is great for nature lovers, perfect near the lake, lots of plants, peaceful ideal for my get away. Had a good price, good size room, cold shower, pricy restaurant, but very friendly staff. Ran into the administrator, without knowing, asked her few things and was very helpful. I wouldn't recommend it for people who expect fanciness of city,  this is Rural areas it is very beautiful place to be close to nature.
