We needed a low budget hotel to spend the night so I opted out of our regular choices and decided to try Lekki Oxford Hotel. 
First of all,the rates on the internet wasn't what obtained when we got to the hotel. It was higher than what was advertised and when I asked the lady at the front desk she told me that the internet price was from the old management. 
Secondly,we couldn't pay via POS. My husband had to look for an ATM around before we could pay. 
Thirdly,the elevator didn't work,we had to climb up to the third floor.
The unpleasant list just went on;from the room smelling of cigarettes to the bathroom not being clean,to the very bad water. 
The next morning,the water wasn't flowing and the phone in the room didn't work so there was no way to get the front desk without first going down then climbing back up. So we waited for any staff to come around-a cleaning guy eventually did and we complained about the lack of water. He gave an explanation which just didn't make sense to me. He promised to help with water and indeed he came back with a bucket of water which happened not to be clear water. 
I will never go back there. For the relatively cheap price I didn't expect much. But to pay money to sleep in a room with mosquitos,no remote control for the television and when I operated it without the remote,someone somewhere changes it to any other channel of his/her choice without regards to what their guests maybe watching,the supposedly free internet didn't work in the room! Argh!! That is outright exploitation. 

Horrible amenities and service 

The Lekki Oxford was great, they allowed my friends and me to use the pool at night. The rooms were average, their bathrooms weren't in top shape. They need an elevator, making all those stairs become tiring after a while.

Though not a fault of theirs, the surrounding area needs to be cleaned up and out. The staff? I tried to stay away from them but they aren't exactly the best.

Nice Hotel. Affordable Rates. Unattractive Environment

While desk staff are generally good, management staff are extremely rude.
My 4th Floor Room was invested with rats, that came out from behind the bed headboard during a power outage and no back-up generator all night.
For the price, stay at a better hotel. I will never stay here again period!

DO NOT THIS HOTEL

they did not declare that they were remodeling. Sunday you awoke from the church service in the building. the pool could not be used. telephone in the room did not work, so you have to walk down to order anything. The elevator was out of service. water was not bright (red) wifi is not working. everyday they sad that tomorrow it will be oke.  NOT!! And you can't control the AC

Niet geloofwaardig

There has been a turnaround in some of the complaint areas. I want to use this opportunity to invite our numerous guests to come in and give themselves a treat and to see things themselves.The rooms have been equipped to modern standard.The air conditions are perfectly functioning . Also available , good source of water. Good verleting services.
