Looking at the reviews posted so far you would think this place stinks but how wrong can these people be! Ok yes, if you are expecting 5 star luxury for bargain basement prices then you will be disappointed but for us this was without a shadow of a doubt the best value and best service place we stayed in for the entire time we were in Norway. Special mention has to go to the 2 smiling Polish girls at reception who were the best ambassadors for Norwegian tourism and should be acknowledged accordingly. Yes, the motel section of the hotel where we stayed is basic but trust me you will not find a view from the floor to ceiling Windows anywhere in the Europe for this price, let alone in Norway. If you are traveling to Hellesylt to do a fjord cruise this is a no brainier decision for accommodation, do it
