Grønnbuene Rorbu Hotel

The check in and breakfast are at another hotel.  But this is right on the water and the area around it is great for walking the harbor.

Only stayed one night. Was very comfortable but the kitchen and it's equipment was very minimal despite there being space for more worktop and there was no proper table. Bit surprised there was no TV. The beds were comfy and the bathroom very nice. Handy for the ferry and free parking.

Excellent stay!  Clean and quiet at night. Within walking distance of shopping and dining. Will definitely return!

Due to overbooking we got nice and newly renovated cabin. Beautiful sunset view. Close to the Andenes lighthouse. Only little flaw was dirty fridge.

On the top of Lofoten with its groundwork/legs in the arctic sea this was a very nice place to stay in with really nice and well planned rooms. Really recommendable and as it is a small town everything is within walking distance

We spend 4 days in the family room. The view is to harbour and not open sea, but you can watch the seals going up and down just below the balcony. Family room was very spacious and has two separate bedrooms. Kitchen and toilet recently refurbished. Restaurant downstairs. Very small walking to whale safaris, polar museum, shops. Staff at hotel Thon where the reception is were really nice. Andenes itself also is wonderful. Much better and cheaper than several other similar venues in Lofoten which we had on same trip. Highly recommend, especially with kids.

It is more of an apartment than a hotel room and they are just in the process of renovating the rooms by the looks of work we saw taking place and that everything is new in the rooms.  A few little things like no hairdryer or kettle in room were quickly taken care of with a smile. The room had a kitchenette which is very handy.  Overall great location, lovely simple room and super friendly and helpful staff.  There is a great little fish and chip shop opposite.  I would stay there again and would recommend it.

The hotel is very close to the Andenes ferry dock and an adorable town with many attractions- hiking, a lighthouse, museums, whale watching and puffin tours, shopping and food! The hotel is on the waterfront in one of 3 buildings. Interestingly, the hotel reception is at a hotel south of the waterfront by about 6 blocks- not hard to find! The room had everything needed for self-catering! There is also a restaurant in the building. We enjoyed our breakfast in the morning there! The room was very clean and comfortable!

Room was ok, underfloor heating in bathroom was a nice surprise, was quiet and warm despite the weather, adequate for an overnight stay

A comfy stay at what felt like the edge of the world. And finally a shower with a frame where water does not splash all over the bathroom! There are restaurants, grocery stores, a kids park and even clothes shops all within walking distance, I was impressed. Tip - a little broom and dustpan would be great to have in the room.

We booked room with sofa for one night. Nice and very clean room, with small kitchen, better than in pictures. Easy to find free parking near by. Good place with dogs and pet fee was only 225. Check-in was near by hotel. Staff there was nice and helpfull.

The rooms situated in typical Rorbu are very nice and simple but still very confortable. The panorama from the upper terrace is beautiful.
The real problem of this place is the great distance form the main building when you have breakfast and dinner, which’d be good to walk in the summer time but not so in the winter time. 

So and so 

You book this Place at Thon Hotel Andrikken, which is already hard to find out. At the reception they don't tell you, that you have the choice between Breakfast included  ( 34 Euros extra)or  not. They just give it to you with Breakfast (served in the Hotel)  if you don't ask, so watch out. 
For about 150 Euros per night the  Gronnbuene Appartments  are  pretty basic ,we found. The Bed is ok but nothing more. The small Kitchen is poorly equipped. We didn't find  a second spoon and missed small plates. You find more dishes on Norwegian Campsites!
Surprisingly enough the Room Service did a very poor job. The first day we waited till  4 PM until somebody showed up. There was no Toilet Paper  in the bathroom and soap ran out too. 
This all made us feeling kind of unhappy being Guest in this place.

I love the consept of grønnbuene, but i am not happy with the execution of it all.
I love the location. But i don't love the interior. The shower in our bathroom was almost falling apart and the bathroom was shabby and cold,even with the little heater on the wall. In the "livingroom" one of the blinders in front of the Windows didn't work, which is rather inconvenient in the land where the sun never goes down. The beds were TINY! We ordered a doubleroom and got placed in a "couples room" with beds We could pull apart from eachother, and those were tiny. Did not sleep well.
And on top of this, they ran out of breakfast almost every Day even though We got there early. It was ridiculous. The food that was left was boring, almost no fruit or vegetables.

In my familys room there was No light. And also, all the towels was tiny... Oh and by the way, one Day We got woken up by a noisy and rude maid WHO slammed at our door around 8am. Don't think they ever came back after to clean either.

All these things would be easy to fix, such as the light and the shower. I suggest you do, because the price we paid does not reflect in what we got. Too expensive, around 1400NOK pr night. Ridiculous.
