It is the most fantastic place. The accomodation was superp, the facilities was awesome, and the surroundings was breathtaking.

I give my most warm and highest recommondation of this place.

Fantastic, awesome and breathtaking

We stayed there for 3 nights and we really enjoyed our stay. Warm welcome from the lady at the reception, she explained us all proposed activities. 
The kids really loved to be there, they enjoyed fishing, sauna and swimming in the cold water. 
If you are not sure what are the best activities, just ask the reception, they are helpful.

What an amazing place! i truly recommend Lofoten Ski Lodge. Super nice owners with most fluffy dog in the world, gorgeus views. The location is so beautiful and the lodge also. They have fantastic sauna and many other attractions. Food served there is delicious, there are some local specials. Menu consist fishes like norwegian salmons, but if you are wegetarian or vegan you won't dissapointed. 

Place is perfect base for those who want to try skitouring, kayaking, surfing, running, mountaineering, biking, aurora borealis seeing etc.

Awesome and magic location, ideal for everything!

We've been in Lofoten Ski Lodge on first week of March and it was completely awesome!!!
Incredible ski days, discovering new and untouched mountains each day. Amazing views, awesome powder and great guides. 
Ah! and great sauna and waffel time when you come back to the lodge!

Awesome ski week in Lofoten!

I stayed in  Lofoten Ski Lodge during my ski touring trip in march.The lodge was located in the seaside with beautiful views of the mountains and arctic sea. I shared a cabin with 2 other guests. In the cabin there were 2 small  rooms with bunk beds.The warmer in the room was working good. The common living area of the cabin with a kitchen was nice. The bathroom was ok. The main house, at 50 meters away with a common living room, a bar and a restaurant was cool. The large hangar was used as a ski room. Getting in the frozen sea then to the sauna was fun. The breakfast and the dinner was served in the second floor of the main house. Food was good.

Nice Base for Ski Touring  in Lofoten

We arrived here on our wedding day june 29th 2018. The reception was great, my wife had ordered our stay through booking.com.

Today I was sitting outside our place relaxing, drinking a coffee with my dogs by my side feeling all peaceful and happy staying at beautiful Lofoten.

Suddenly an old man approached me, asking in an aggressive manner without event presenting himself, if my dogs were sleeping inside. I instantly felt uneasy and shocked about the way he talked to me, then I told him the dogs did.

He then continued talking in an aggressive manner, telling me how rude I was for bringing my dogs inside, telling the place was for people with allergies and that pets were strictly prohibited from entering. He also told my dogs had to sleep in the car for the rest of our stay.

I didn`t know anything about the ordering process and the related terms (my wife ordered the stay online), so the only thing I did was to apologize at that moment.

Then after talking to my wife, and looking on booking.com, it was clearly stated that this place was Pet Friendly. This meant that the whole cause of all the aggression towards me in the first place was baseless.

I then told this to the old man when seeing him for a second time, he then said something like "Oh, that I didn`t know", but after a few moments of thinking he started to defend his previous behaviour, joined by what most likely was his wife.

I said I could of course pay extra if they wanted, but then they said with a clearly irritated tone that wasn`t necessary, and told me I just had to clean the place thoroughly before departure. I answered them and said of course I will, then they started ranting about earlier visitors not cleaning after themselves. I felt they were judging me before I had done anything wrong :(

This review suddenly got longer than intended, but when starting to write about this I more and more clearly see how this is a totally unacceptable way to treat a customer that has just paid around 1000 Euros.
