This small family run hotel exceeded my expectations. Upon arrival I was a little concerned, since the hotel doesn't have great curb appeal. The lobby is a bit dates and when lead to our room (in the hallway between the kitchen and dining room) I was worried. But in the end the 2 room little suite, was perfect. It had amazing views and was extremely quiet. The location of this hotel is what makes it special. It is in a quiet, uncrowded location. And it has great views. We would sit either inside or out in the garden every evening and just relax to the perfet fjord views. The family that runs this hotel is super helpful and friendly. You can really tell they work hard to make each stay perfect. The decor is not most up to date or stylish. I am very picky when it comes to hotel rooms, and I loved this hotel.
