I can't imagine a better value in Bergen.  This apartment is right across the street from the wharf/fishmarket/town center.  The views from the living room and the wonderful porch are fantastic.  Essentially you have a comfortable living room and well appointed kitchen, a great view from the porch, large bedroom with a sky light that opens so you can get fresh air, and a large bathroom with a washer/dryer! Lots of storage, lots of room and wonderfully clean.  

The only slight negatives are that you do have to check in at the Y next door and that's only negative because their hours are limited (they are great about communicating and making alternative arrangements if necessary).  Also, you are in heart of the city so you will get to "enjoy" the music from the bars below as well as those who out enjoying the evening.  We just closed the sky light, but if you're a light sleeper you might want to bring ear plugs.

Perfect space

I have not actually stayed here, but chose to book it back on 22nd Novermber 2017, for a few nights in September this year - 2018.  It was booked and CONFIRMED on that date.

On 15th March this year, I get an email to say the price was wrong, and the cost was double what was advertised.  I wrote back and asked them to honour the booking at the advertised rate.

Their reply was, it was the wrong price, but you can have free cancellation.  
Soooo not impressed, and now so unaffordable.  I have now gone with an AirBnB, but I am still very disappointed.

Very disappointed

Great choice for families! Excellent location right in the heart of the city centre, off the fish market. Two good size bedrooms, two great bathrooms, full floor, great terrace with sublime views, excellent kitchen with great appliances, washer/dryer, space for extra beds and sofa beds. A very good size elevator to go up and down. An excellent Eritrean restaurant called Naomi at the ground floor, Deli De Luca around the corner, Kiwi/7 eleven stone throw away and walking distance to the main station. Check in was smooth and efficient at the YMCA reception next door. Floibanen railway is a short walk away. 

Great option in a scenic city! 

Superb Option in the City Centre! 

The Bryggen Panorama suites was perfect for our family. It was extremely spacious and modern with a nice balcony. The location was right in the center of everything, although the street repairs going on out front was annoying. Would definitely return.
