Frich`s Hjerkinnhus

We stayed two nights, and totally enjoyed our stay. The rooms and shared facilities are spacious and clean, and breakfast is very extensive and delicious: eggs, bread, yoghurt, cereals, cheese, meat, fish confitures, fruit, vegetables - all you can wish for. The location is great, close to the trails to explore Dovrefjell NP. Totally recommended!

Good standard on this hostell at Dovre. The room are simple but clean and with good beds. The Staff is friendly. The food is very good and are homemade and gives a good introduction to the Norwegian food.
This is a good place to stay if you want to go on Moskussafari or walk the top to Snøhetta. The only thing Missing was the dry-room that did not worked to well for drying clothes after heavy rain..

Very nice, friendly staff who accepted us putting our tent in their premises for a fee and use their services. We had lunch at their restaurant and the food was really good. Their internet worked well so my son was really pleased.

Stayed here for the second time already. Nice rooms, middle size, own washbasin/sink in the room, wc and showers downstairs, very clean and recently modernized. Very friendly staff, restaurant/cafe. Kitchen upstairs to prepare your own meals. A few basic items for sale at the reception, otherwise no shop/store whatsoever in the area, so bring along everything you need during your stay. Close to the road E6 (by car, no busses) and even closer to the train station. Wifi. In the summer shuttle to Snøheim (starting point for hikes in the Dovrefjell mountains) several times a day on a road that's closed to private vehicles.

Great place at the heart of Dovrefjell National Park

Telt  in their premises while doing St Olav's pilgrimage 

I arrived late and left early, had brought my own food. I had a 4 bed room to myself, at a decent price. Toilet in the hallway, showers in basement. Rooms were obviously refurbished, beds in a rough and rugged style, moscus photos on walls. However old pipes, markings on the walls and missing plates in the ceiling ruined the impression. Good enough for hitting the sack and moving on though.
