Good camping, reasonable prices, friendly staff, good starting point to Geiranger fjord. In our cottage with shower and toilet had everything we needed. Saw moose right in the center of the camp early in the morning)))

We rented the bigger cabin with an attached toilet and two rooms. Was really spacious and had everything we wanted. We stayed for three nights and discovered the surrounding areas while we were there. 

Even walked to the Co-Op nearby and took in the views enroute. The lady who manages the place is very friendly and helpful. Our shower drain was clogged and she quickly fixed it.

Perfect getaway.

This campground with cabins has all the basics covered, but not much else. The 4 bed cabin was clean and comfortable. The shared bathhouse was not as nice. This was especially true because I didn't know I needed coins for the shower until I was actually in the stall ready to shower. You need 10 nok coins, and there isn't anywhere to get them.

Camping Furuly has a large selection of differnt type of cabins.  We booked a Type A cabin for one night as a stop-over between Lillehammer and Geiranger.
The Type A is the most luxurious cabin, with its own bathroom.  It's still pretty basic but comparing with the other cabin types,  I definitely would recommend this one.  
It’s not as cheap as you would expect , especially with the cleaning included but if you are with max 4 people,  you get plenty of space.
According to the camping website, it should fit 6 people but that might be a bit too optimistic given the size of the beds.
 The only problem we experienced was the lack of good curtains in the bedroom as it did not get dark during the night.
The cabin has a kitchen , which you probably will use as there are not much options in the area to have diner.  There’s a Coop Supermarket about 1km from the camping site.  
Behind the camping, there are some walking rails.  We followed one up the mountain. 
I would defintily recommend it as it provides very beautiful views of the valley and as there are not many people , it will get you the opportunity to have an encounter with a moose.
In summary,  good if you want to stay for a couple of days at the same place and with more people then normally fits in a hotel room.  For a stop-over and/or for couples, it’s a bit too expensive for what you get (or you should take the smaller cabins)
