A fantastic place to eat with comfortable interior, pleasant decor, helpful attentive staff and a superb speciality dish; the Klebberstein (soapstone) Just remember that this is a dish that has to be booked the day before, but that is a good idea so you have a chance to build up the necessary appetite If you have had a Turkish/ Greek/ Arabic meze, or a Spanish tapas then you will be familiar with a table filled with a variety of bowls. The Klebberstein meal presents the diners with plenty to choose from, then at the centre of the table is placed a late iron trivet carrying a block of stone heated to a high temperature. A tray of diced cubed meats is presented, pork, chicken breast and beef in large chunks accompanied by a small ramekin of seasoning. Diners select there meat and place it to sizzle on the stone, chat sip your drinks, and turn the pieces to cook on each side as you nibble on the other offerings and the sauces to accompany them. The chicken and pork were delicious lean cuts, but the beef was absolutely out of this world.
