The room was on the first floor with the balcony where they left the sausage for the night, because there was no fridge, and the hotel was very warm. In the morning it was all eaten by someone... For breakfast there was a modest Swedish table. The hotel itself resembles the movie The Shining. Around the mountain, nature, very beautiful, empty.

Watch out for the night beasts!

We had a wonderfully comfortable  stay at Dagali Hotel. Randi and Bjarne provide a very warm welcome and are splendid hosts, making you feel very much at home. The food is fantastic and we had some of the best cross-country skiing ever with 150 cms of snow and perfect conditions (mid-March 2018). The wildlife in the area and around the hotel is amazing. Such a peaceful and relaxing place - well worth a return visit. And only a 20 minute hotel transfer from Geilo rail station.

Friendly warm hotel

Arriving after a rather long motorcycle stop, the hotel cleaned a simple single room. The manager proved kindly discreet dinner and breakfast. The price is quite expensive but in Norwegian rentals.

Good accommodation

Nice well maintained hotel and very friendly hosts. Almost like a trip backwards in history, part of the hotel is a museum. Very quiet. No swimming pool, no TV in the rooms. But table tennis and Pool table. Try a night or two when on a tour with car or motorbike.

Nice old style hotel

Old hotel in Dagali 24 km from Geilo. Situated in nice quiet surroundings. Close to small local airport and alpine ski senter. Grocery shop 500 m from hotel. Very old 60ties style hotel. Not acceptable wi fi signal in our room, no TV on room, old carpet on floor, retro  bathroom from the 70ties. Lots of saloons and sitting areas. Nice american 60 ties style bar area , but closed. This hotel is more a sort of museum with guestrooms. Very nice museum area close to reception. Pretty high priced compared to modern hotels. Good breakfast served in the dining room.

This is a hotel for those who love the comfort of home, the quiet, the comfort, the tranquility, a walk in the mountains, along the mountain river (in summer). Large rooms with a recreation area.

Hotel for rest

We got to the Dagali Hotel after a long bus ride, and literally immersed ourselves in the clean mountain air, the silence, the atmosphere of comfort and tranquility. Somewhere down there was the sound of a mountain river. It was nice to meet the owner of the hotel, with whom it was very interesting to talk. It was necessary to make the opening of a large enough museum on the lower floors of the hotel. Here you can immerse yourself in Norwegian life and Norwegian culture. Do a lot of small things and take pictures until the endless. In the neighboring garages, the owner of the hotel's private collection of cars. The doors in these garages are open round the clock, and perhaps the main attraction will be to give you movement.
