This hotel has spacious rooms. The staff is very helpful (pointed us to a great place to bathe in the fjord, Slettøya, 7 min walk from the hotel). The hotel has a nice restaurant for lunch/dinner too. Breakfast is outstanding. Hotel dates from 1648. Close to King’s View (Kongens utsikt, or Queens view (Dronningens utsijt) if you have little time/not a good walker 1.5km uphill.
