Very nice hotel situated on a lovely lake. The hotel had a restaurant which was nice and the Hosts were very helpful

We loved this hotel. The owners were fluent in both norwegian and english.  The rooms were fun with different famous norwegians as themes to the rooms.  Dinner was great! hand made pizza with wine.Breakfast  was wonderful too.Eggs, bacon, all the traditional norwegian breakfast foods too.enjoyed waking up to the sounds of the harbor through the window we'd opened. Would def. stay again

Our room at the Sogn Hotel was basic but comfortable with an exceptional view of the mountains and fjord. Being a family owned and run business, Constantine and his mother went out of their way to ensure that we felt welcome and that our needs were promptly attended to. The dining room offered delicious dinner fare. The freshly caught salmon was outstanding and the buffet breakfast was ample and tasty.

We stayed in Vadheim so we could do some touring around the fjords. The Sogn hotel is in a wonderful location on the water, surrounded by mountains. It hasn't yet reached its full potential as the owners have only been running it since last June and they are planning on a lot of improvements, but we very much enjoyed our stay there, and all the staff (and the owners) were super friendly and helpful.

The location is great - the end of a narrow fjord and surrounded by very steep mountains. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and enjoyed it every much. Service was friendly and make sure your needs were met.  We got to breakfast late but Dominika made sure we still had a great meal.

Owners are very nice and hospitable. Location has a beautiful view and both breakfast and dinner was fresh made by owners. Place is clean and rooms are taken care of although hotel is slightly dated. However the friendly owners make up for the outdated building and the atmosphere was friendly and comfortable.

Very nice little hotel, warm welcome, clean room with beautiful view to the fjord. My suggestion to the host when you offer breakfast at the additional cost please make sure it is decent and please do not act rude when being asked about vegetarian alternatives. There were none, so we being vegetarian felt tricked into paying for nothing.

The staff were really nice and friendly.Parking is rigth outside the hotel with more spaces just next to it if they are all taken.The staff recommended buying the breakfast for 100 NOK per person, and that was surely worth it. The eggs were really tasty and we didn't miss anything.The location is just by the fjord. Our rooms were facing the Sogn fjord where we could observe the fish and birds in the morning.The rooms were a bit older. The beds are just fine and you will sleep like a baby. The bath rooms are a bit out of date though, probably from when the hotel was built. A recommendation to the hotel is to replace the sink and get new showers as this would lift the entire experience.

Room with a great view towards the fjord. Staff made me fee like home.
