Absolutely a wonderful place to unwind and relax and charge your batteries!!!Beautiful and quiet rooms with amazing beds and great views. Superb service from a really devoted staff- we would like to mention especially the extremely service minded and lovely hotel manager Trude who works so hard to make everyone feel at home! Always with a big smile and really helpful in all matters!Great food and veggies from local farmers and they even produce and serve their own wine and beer. The SPA is a very beautiful place to relax! Also the fantastic saunas outside is highly recommended to try! Especially the floating sauna on the local lake! We enjoyed a family vacation and celebrated an anniversary during our visit - and we will love to come back! Perfect location from the airport or the capital Oslo or from any other places within a few hours drive! The hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature great for skiing in the or hiking in the summer. We would definitely come back! This hotel is a hidden gem among some of the best hotels we’ve ever visited!
