Portør Pensjonat 

What a wonderful place! We were staying in Kragerø and took the ferry across to Stabbestad, which in itself was a wonderful experience. Then we drove on 15 - 20 mins to Portør. (We could have done as we did for the way back and drive as it is on a headland, but the ferry was a lovely experience). We went to Porotør Pensjonat for lunch after going for a bathe in the surrounding waters, which have amazing smooth undulating rock formations around them as well as a small beach. The staff were very friendly, the food delicious and generous portions, the location is out of this world - it was a lovely holiday memory that will stay with us forever. The smash burgers were amazing and my partner’s shrimp sandwich was far more than a sandwich! My mum enjoyed a cauliflower steak and my dad had a beef salad which was also very generous. If we can get back to Norway next year we will visit again for sure!
