Marvellous little hunting lodge or rather farm not far from a railway station Situated in pitoresque landscape in southern Norway. Host and hostess are lovely people Pluss they serve delicious  lokal food Reckommend a visit to Solli Hunting farm👍🍷🍽

The Solli farm is over the route 465 road in Kvinlog Kvinesdal Southern Norway. It is a hunting farm where there are forests to roam and hunt and stay overnight.

lt owned by a lovely couple that have completely rebuilt the old farm from top to bottom. I went there for an overnight trip with my wife for her birthday. It was in May and the weather was perfect. The sun was shining and the place was stunning. The property is surrounded by mountains, a river, forest and trees. One of the owners Birgit made some dinner for us which was deer that melted in your mouth. They have their own deer there (called gjort) so the quality was fantastic.

We stayed in a room that had beds built into the walls. That was quite romantic. She only takes large bookings, so we stayed there when there was other people staying at the same people. Think they were from a local company or something.

We went for a walk in the forest and just relaxed. There is no noise, just the river and birds. She  also has horses, so you can also hear them sometimes.

We put some food in the outdoor fire place and enjoyed the night over a wine. It was my wife's birthday, so it was a surprise for her.

It the perfect place for a couple or family to visit if there are also others booked in to stay there. I think it sleeps about 15 people.

We will be back.
