Gjestehuset Spiren

Unfortunately we didn't have much time to enjoy this small hotel or its surroundings as we arrived quite late and had an early morning flight from the airport. Its vincinity to Sandefjord Torp airport and good price were the two main reasons when choosing this hotel. Only some 20min away from Torp airport and half the price of the Motel near the airport itself were hard to beat although we were scared a bit of the small rooms, people were complaining about on major booking site. However upon our arrival, the nice lady at the reception told us, that rooms for 4 persons were more meant for families with kids and we were offered two double rooms for no extra charge instead. Kudos! Rooms are normal sized and have their private bathroom/toilet. Each room has it's own shelf in the refrigirators in the common kitchen/dining area and guests can enjoy the free tea and coffee. There is also a living room with large flat TV to chill out in the evening. Downstairs there is a nice restaurant, that serves tasty food and beverages for good prices. Warmheartedly recommended!
