Visit Tinos.. gives you delicious food with a feeling of the south. Pizzas.. pastas.. a la carte.. Sip a glass of wine or have a beer while enjoying watching the freezing snowy cold from inside.. People from all corners of the world meet up. Feel for a bite.. cheese and ham platter in no time.  Bon appetite!

Litle hotel that make you feel at home. I travel a lot in my work (about 50-100 a year) and Tinos is one of my favorites!

Excellent hotel and delicious restaurant, service is also top class.
Breakfast simply wonderful.
Ask for a room with the terrace, you can sit out in the evening and enjoy the late sunshine and lights (in summertime of course...)
Very central location, close to all main shopping activities.

Charm and service at it’s best!!!

Very good place to stay in Namsos

Long established hotel in town centre near shopping centre. no one permanently on reception. There is a lift. I had a  suite which was spacious but dated in furniture and decor. had access to a shared balcony. Restaurant was excellent in food and service. Breakfast was average, Main downside for this hotel is no parking on the streets around. and public free car park 200 metres away.

Comments: B&B-standard type, Namsos, well made, clean and friendly, good bed and a better Italian restaurant. I spent more time in the shower than needed, too little water coming thru. The breakfast was very modest.

Modest, and oko

This modest little hotel for me brings back a lot of nice memories from the late eighties. It is a strange mixture of ceramic tiles in different colours, stairs and different levels of the floors in the rooms(watch your step!). The hotel shows some signs of age but this also makes it charming in a special way. The owner is Italian and you feel some kind of mediterranean touch  just by looking at the colours. The house itself is painted some kind of green turquoise on the outside (not barn red or grey, which probably would have been the Norwegian way of decorating....), and inside the warm terracotta colours are seen in many rooms. Furniture is worn. My room was spacious and clean. No  carpets on the floor which I like, because  it is easier to keep clean. Bathroom was OK, but the shower had a very low water pressure in my room (202). Soap from dispenser and no toiletries. There was some noise from the traffic outside, but the beds was excellent and i slept like a rock. Breakfast was under average (dry crust on the bread,  the cheese slices had dry edges and the boiled eggs were cold).This contrasts to the food in the restaurant.  I had dinner in the restaurant the evening before and the food there was very tasty and especially the the "Caprese salad" was presented in a delicious way. It was a little difficult to communicate in Norwegian with some of the staff, but they were all very friendly. The price was OK. 
To conclude:  This hotel is neither luxury nor extravagance, but still charming in it's special way. Because the prices are reasonable and a stay at this hotel  definitely gives something different compared to the standardized hotels in bigger hotel chains I would really like to come back....despite my rating of three dots.
