I booked a large apartment via bookingdotcom and everything worked well. Except that we were not informed that the reception opens only after 4pm. So we went to the next cafe and waited one hour. Reception opens only after 4pm till 7 pm, so take care this time slot fits your travel plans The rest is super: Great location just 20 minutes by walk to the Aker Brygge, in the middle of a very good shopping area for fashion and design stuff. Very good neibourhoud. Good Restaurants nearby ( (Avoid the Mares Bistro around the corner, it is not very good but very expensive and your family will leave the restaurant hungry) Very good public transportation bus and cable car, busy street in front of the house. Apartment is completely furnished in IKEA style. Only very small and soft beds 80 cm, this might be problematic for large and heavy people. However everything is very practically and brand new. Enough space for 6 and a reasonable price (compared to Oslo’s price level). We liked it very much. Kitchen is well equiped including dishwasher. Parking should be possible in the public streets. However you really do not need a car There is a Busstop (no 30 and 31) and a cable car (12 and 13) stops at "Solis"direct nearby
