We stayed in our motorhome there through nortrip and the host was fabulous cooked us a  fantastic meal of elk especially for us.  He was absolutely lovely and very helpful indeed lovely quiet village well worth a visit 

Were here for work, and must say trist was a rally pleasant place to stay. Good food, comfortable bed, rally Nice atmosphere and clean. Really good fisking opportunities and hiking in forest and Mountain.

Wow what a delightful place to stop at. The rooms were pristine and clean. The breakfast was beautiful with a great choice to choose from. The apple juice was amazing, do try it if you can. The hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. A lovely place to visit and totally recommend this Bed and breakfast.

Me and my wife stayed here during a weekend to do some hiking in Telemark, and we loved it.
Everything was perfectly clean and fresh, but we also found it very cosy. The hosts are very helpful, they provided us maps and instructions on how to reach different places and also gave us recommendations on where to walk.
The breakfast is not huge but everything that is served is delicious.
We tried the dinner one night, elk-stew, and that was also fantastic.
But the weirdest thing is that though we believed this was a top-class stay, we still just paid like $150 for the both of us for two nights. Perfect sop for an outdoor vacation in Norway.

Welcoming little B&B which is spotlessly clean and well looked after. The bed was comfortable and the home-cooked food very good. Shared bathroom and showers which were also perfectly clean. The mountains of Telemark were spectacular and the circular route suggested by the owners was the perfect suggestion for our self-drive tour. Thank you.

It's always a bit dodgy returning to a B&B that you have previously graded "excellent". Was it really that marvellous? Well in this case it was!  The Nordbø pensjonat was just as welcoming and homely as it was almost two years ago.  It is spotlessly clean, well looked after and maintained.  In particular the bathrooms were still very well cared for.  Complimentary coffee and tea in the dining room ; sit in the lounge, watching TV using your laptop (free wifi), sit outside, or enjoy your coffee in your room.  Although there is a large dining room, most guests helped themselves to breakfast from the buffet, going outside to eat in the rear garden, away from the main road,  enjoying the morning sun and breathtaking views of the valley and mountains beyond.
This guest house is quite simply excellent and I will certainly be staying here again.

An extremely friendly stop over while travelling from west to east. Perfectly detailed and tastefully decorated. Less than 10 rooms which makes it cosy. Rooms have a sink but there is a joint shower / toilet room (2 of each) very clean and felt like being at home. Good parking with views of mountains. Rooms to the front face the road but it's not so busy. Rooms have twin beds which are good quality but a "challenge" for couples. Free WiFi everywhere....no TV in the rooms, which i liked - a TV room is off the common room. Dinner can be arrange - which is really good. Definitely recommend this stop and being on an amazing motorcycle route is at very least worth a stop for refreshments in their café
