Having just returned from a two day day, teambuilding event at the Fjordbris Hotel, I am shocked that in my 23 years living in Stavanger this is my first visit to this hidden gem of a hotel

An idyllic location, wonderful, locally sourced food, friendly and engaged staff, the list goes on   
It has been a while since I’ve written a review, but this hotel  REALLY deserved a good one.

Best food ever. Nice hotel at the sea with a nice resturant. Really love the place and service. Nice people with good service. Local made food. Small room nd apartments. They also have boats you can rent, if you like to fish. 

This place is perfectly located for a quiet getaway. Located at the tip of the island, away from traffic, on a little marina, the hotel/restaurant/apartments aren't big, but neither are they small.

Everything has been recently renovated, and done with style.

The owner is very friendly and talkative, and offers a great insight of the area and living there.

If you're staying in the apartments, the hotel is located right next to a small supermarket.

It's the first place we've stayed in that has individual wifi for each room, and Apple TV.

This is the place to unwind!

Very nice, quiet, relaxed setting, fantastic views of the oceanside, with the option to go for a walk along the shoreline or sit by the sea on a warm sunny day. 
Rooms are nice, big and full of light, with a modern, fresh feel. Very nice to rest after a day, full of adverntures.
However, food is the real star of the show! It is a must to try the luch buffet on sundays!  Freshly cooked, with a homemade feel to it but of a good restaurant quality, and vegetarian option is always there. Very worth it to drive out on a nice sunny sunday afternoon and get some fresh sea air along with a fantastic lunch!
Staff laso deserves a mention - everyone is very friendly without being over the top. A nice balance of professional and relaxed.
Overall a must try place for sure!

This litle cosy hotel is situated on a beautiful place outside Stavanger. The rooms, or actually flats, are large. The staff are proud of their place, and it shows on the level of service.  Very good food.

Came here for my brother in law 50th.  The food was incredible, halibut and lamb, the rooms beautiful and very clean and fresh.  The location is picturesque, overlooking the harbour.  An amazing experience

Family lunch in the restaurant...a simple buffet, excellent quality, local food. 
The tenant is nice and kind with people, adults and children. About food, a very good soup, we ve been there twice and it was onion soup, just excellent!! Fish and meat, vegetables and potatoes, 2 desserts and coffee...just nice for a very reasonable price ! Go there, the area is beautiful...
Highly recommended :-)

Firstly, we were distressed to discover that no dinner was available at all despite booking "hotel" room and reading of good meals, especially after our long journey. We were put in to an apartment (we were the only guests) so told to cook our own!  We learnt that the only shop in the area had just closed! So cook what? Owner told us to drive back to Stavanger - a 40 minute drive back!! Finally, he showed us where the only shop open was, over the hills again. There is a takeaway/cafe there which was good, thankfully. Disbelief in finding shower only works for 20 seconds at a time - have to keep pushing a knob!! Only one small heater in lounge, and gas fire had been turned off as told it wasn't winter - however the owner next morning said it's been a lot colder than should be this time of year! Bedside light did not work as power point loose from wall - risky. Only one thin duvet on bed - no extra blanket to keep warm.  Breakfast meagre, no fresh or tinned fruit, or cereals.  Bedroom austere and cold. Bathroom cold.  The woman very unsmiling. The owner had taken the euro 150 from our account before we arrived and so he told us we could not cancel (on finding no meals available).  We expected a reasonable place with a meal available for the money. A bottle of wine did not rectify the bitter reality and big disappointment. Presume the sauna was not operating as weren't told about it. Green algae on entrance to unit 24 also gave a run down look. Before this experience we had enjoyed all the hospitality of Norway and on previous trips.
Their own website should clearly state what is NOT available, especially about meals, as there is no where else available in the neighbourhood to eat.
