It's quite strange to be staying in part of a hospital but don't let this put you off. The rooms were quite big, with sofas and a TV, and like the rest of the hotel/hostel it's very clean. The breakfast was nice although quite limited to what to choose from. There is a helipad is right outside and occasionally be quite noisy but other times you won't notice them. The hotel is located a couple of miles outside of central Stavanger but, if you don't fancy a 40min walk, then the bus links make it easy to get in and takes about 15 mins. There is a train station about 20mins walk away, Paradis stasjon, and offers links to Central Stavanger and also to the VK Stadium. All in all it's a great place to stay and recommend.
