Park Hotel Vossevangen 

Our whole experience from start to finish at The Park Hotel was excellent. The staff go above and beyond to ensure your holiday is a wonderful and relaxing experience. Upon arriving, we were greeted by the manager, Berit, who greeted us warmly and not only helped to arrange our ski lift passes but invited us on a complimentary tour of the wine cellar (one of the largest in the world!) Our tour was incredibly informative and interesting and we enjoyed it very much. The food was delicious and it was well worth booking on a half board basis as food can be expensive in Norway. The breakfast had a wide range of options (all delicious) and the dinner was way above expectations (considering it was a set menu and part of our package). The staff were so helpful and friendly and were happy to chat which created a lovely, friendly atmosphere. We felt well looked after during our stay due to the high level of service and attention to detail. Our room was very large and had a tremendous view of the lake and the beds were super comfortable. The hotel also has a Wild Norway sauna which is easy to use and well worth experiencing as the sauna has a gorgeous lake view also! If you want a stress free, relaxing holiday, then I would certainly recommend The Park Hotel. Just be aware you are booking somewhere which does not have an apres ski vibe but nonetheless if you want some peace and quiet and want excellent service and comfort then this is the place for you. The location is perfect (short walk to gondola which is included with lift pass) and the train station to explore further afield (an hour to Bergen). Yoy can also get a bus to Myrkdalen. I will be staying here again. Thank you Park Hotel for such a memorable and enjoyable trip!
