We arrived late in the evening with our motorbikes and could rent a cabin for 750kr. We had to pay a deposit of 600kr on top, which would be deposited back afterward on my credit card. We could just leave the key on the cabindoor. Obviously no need for inspection.
We left the day afterwards after having cleaned the cabin. We did just sleep there so I vacuumed the whole place and left. 
A few days afterwards I checked my account and the 600kr wasn't deposited back and I didn't get no mail or phone from them so I called. The guy said without any shame that we had left 3,5 hours too late (which is a big lie because we are bikers and we always leave early to get the most out of our day) and that the cabin was so dirty they had to hire a cleaning lady to do the jobb for us. (????!!!!) WTF!?

In other words: we didn't get our deposit back. I tried to call back once more afterwards, but they refused my call and didn't reply voicemail or mails anymore. As I was already miles away, turning back was not an option and the police would probably just laugh at us if we would file a complaint.  I slept bad from it for several nights. 

We had just been robbed in a way only cowards and chiefs do. 
The only thing I could think about was:"what if they do this to 100 tourists a season"?

One word: organised theft.

Big cabin that has all the facilities you need for a nice stay up to 6 persons. The cabin was perfectly clean and is located next to a lake and a 15 minutes drive from the mountains. Ideal if you want to relax or hike or go fishing or swimming while enjoying panoramic views. Close to a mini supermarket. The Wifi signal was rather weak so we only had reception in some parts of the cabin. Some cabins might not have a signal at all. Shouldn't spoil your stay though!

We booked a cabin in this place, almost at "last-minute", for a short winter break with the kids. When arrived, we was told to pay cash, despite the possibility for "ViSA" on their information. To my little surprise, the older couple running the place, still had the bookkeeping the old way, everything was hand written in the book, even the receipt to us.

The cabin number 5 was located nicelly with the waterfront view. The interior and decoration was from 70's, plain dark wood. The cabin had most equipment for your need. The bathroom was renovated recently. This is a reaonable place for quietness, without any sign of luxury or high standard. If you do expect such, find some place else.
