I booked this hotel for my one night stay in Oman as it was located close to the airport, next to a large shopping mall, and rooms very reasonably priced. 

On arrival late at night I was greeted by the front desk staff who were friendly and helpful. 

My room on the P Level and was a good size. The room was confortable, clean, and well maintained. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable with crisp white sheets. The curtains were black-out type so helped ensure a good night sleep in complete darkness. Tea and coffee makings were provided along with bottled water. In the bathroom the walk-in shower was large and had a powerful hot water supply. Toiletries were provided through fixed wall dispensers and there were a sufficient number of bath and hand towels. The wifi signal was good and I didnt have any connection issues. 

As my flight was at 22.30 I was able to extend my checkout until 19.00 for 8 OMR which was well worth it rtaher than killing time in the lobby or mall.

The mall next door has a large Carrefour supermarkets and many food outlets so no need to worry about travelling out to find food.

The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. I would definately stay at the City Centre Hotel, Muscat again.

Super Muscat Airport Hotel

The location of the hotel is quite good. Close to some restaurants, coffee shops, and the Carrefour (where you can find other restaurants in the food court). It is also close to the bus stop (Mwasalat) to go to the airport and to the Al Mouj pier. The bed and pillows were super comfortable, the wifi signal ok. They changed towels and cleaned the room after first night, which I did not expect. My room was overlooking the big road, but I slept well. Everything was clean. Fridge, kettle, with coffee and tea, and water bottles available in the room. They added new tea bags and water bottles the second day. Very satisfied.

Very nice stay

The hotel is in a great location, super close to the airport and just beside the City Center Mall, with easy access to the main road. The room is huge and the bed super comfortable. The staff as well are all very friendly, which makes me feel at home. I’d definitely stay at the hotel again.

One of the Biggest Malls in Muscat . Restaurants , food Court and VOX Cinema 
Many famous fashion Brands known in GCC are not available i.e.Massimo Dutti , Boggi , Soccour etc... 
Big parking available - ground + 2 Floors.


One of Best Malls in Muscat

This place is horrendous.  I can confidently say the worst place I have stayed in during the 16 years I have lived in the Gulf.
How it has not been closed down by the health authorities is beyond me.
Haphazard check in process and then shown to Room 212 which had enough mould on the ceiling to maintain an immediate visit from the Environmental Health body.
Moved to Room 213 - slightly less mould - still a health hazard. Complain again - offered a smoking room that stinks.
It is now late so hedge my bets and risk the less mouldy room - that has broken chairs; a security lock that has been ripped off; electrical fixtures that are hanging off and a TV that shows channels no one wants to watch - have they heard of MBC/OSN - and two English news channels that were totally corrupted.
One solitary towel in the bathroom - and naturally no spoons or utensils for tea.
Breakfast was a shambles as well.
And they had the nerve to charge over 100 USD a night. 

Absolutely appalling and I will be telling the travel agent who booked it for me to take it off their list of properties immediately.

Asked for a taxi in the morning - came down to check - no one at check out or reception and managed to get one myself on the street.

The Worst Hotel in Oman - if not the Gulf

Had to stay there with my family; as it was close to my residence; some work was going on at my home. The rate that I got was very good for the room. But I regret staying there; as the hotel rooms are in terrible shape; just pathetic. wallpaper is coming off; not enough light in the room; phone wasn't working; not enough light in the bathroom; just terrible.

No, I don't think so

Very poorly maintained, poorly organized, definitely not a place to spend your money. Asked for the airport drop. They obliged with a warning that I should report at the exact time for the airport drop, else it would be cancelled (in spite of charging extra for the drop). I reported 10 mins before the said time, but the car driver was not to be seen for a full 30 mins. Finally the driver appeared from the hotel's kitchen eating a huge a sandwich which he continued eating with one hand, all the way while driving. The rear seat of the car was full of his stuff, so I was asked to sit in the front. It looked like a private car used to make extra buck. All I can say is, at the end I was glad to leave the place.
