The hostel is okay. We stayed 4 nights in the private double room, shared bathroom. The good things: location is fantastic right in the middle of Koror and walking distance to downtown, as well as tour companies. It’s pricey for what it is but in Palau I guess that’s how things cost. Baba, the manager, is very friendly and attentive and his recommendations were the best (from a local guide to snorkel to the car rental etc), and always available. The downside is that the hostel feels old, the matress was very unconfortable and the bathroom was dirty.

At 70 bucks per night for a bunk bed, I'd say they are a little overpriced. Good location, but dont lose your multiple lock keys!  And dont count on the free but undependable bike.

Clean, few customers, good location.

This hostel is one of the few budget choices in Palau, and a great place to stay: a huge and well-equiped communal kitchen inviting to cook on your own (which also will massively reduce your food expenses, as eating out is very expensive in Palau); a TV room; a huge kitchen table; a nice living room with a huge sofa. There are also recommendations for renting cars and doing snorkeling tours (if you can swim, you should definitely book a tour with the hostel‘s associated guide and not one of the tour companies, as the latter will group you with non-swimmers and then not go to the deep places) etc. But the best thing are the hosts and other travellers - a lot of them long-term residents and in our experience very sociable.

Home away from Home

I found this hostel to be clean and very convenient.  One block away is a grocery store and this hostel has a very large kitchen with everything you could possibly need to cook a meal.  Free coffee for those who need a morning fix.
Baba is very helpful with anything you need.  When I made my reservation he asked if I wanted a pick up from the airport.  I agreed and a  very nice driver was right there waiting for  me.  Baba also arranged my ride to the airport to leave.
You can walk to downtown and to the history museum.  I watched a little league baseball game on my walk to the museum.  
My only suggestion would be to use the air conditioning in the back rooms.  The rooster do not know when it is morning.

Close to everything you need.

Baba has created a great place to stay at a very good price. Has a nice "hostel vibe."
Communal kitchen has everything you need to self- cater and save some money. I had a single private with comfortable bed, fan and air con.
4 bed dorm also available.
