Good night, in September, I'm all with my wife and my two children, ages 5 and 7, at this hotel, and I have to say that its location is very good, far from the centre of the city, but only a 4-minute walk from the walking spots and from where the boats leave for the Tours. The hotel has a dock from which breakfast is served which is idyllic. The room inside is very large, but it had a little dust as well as the air conditioning is very old and makes a lot of noise, but we didn't have to use it at night. The bathroom is old-looking but correct, the spirit I have to say that the alcacho sal would be for everyone at least for the head but it wasn't a big problem.

Excellent location and treatment.

The hotel is in a handy position to town and has a beautiful outlook over the water. The staff were wonderful and provided whatever assistance we needed. It is not fancy so don’t expect high quality but has rustic charm. This is reflected in the price I guess. Being honest I have to say a negative is the noisy air conditioners, which really need attention, and a new bar next door might affect light sleepers so ask for one of the rooms on the right side of the hotel. We enjoyed our stay.

Very enjoyable stay

Location close to the center of Bocas del Toro, but with a quiet, sea view with hammock and tables available, air-conditioned rooms, low-maintenance staff and very friendly, super breakfast included, not to be missed!

It's a great hotel.

I loved the Bocas Inn. It's slightly out of the town centre but just a couple of minutes walk from anywhere you want to be. My first floor room overlooking the sea was just right - all you need with decent aircon. Orlando cooked me pancakes with fresh fruit and Humildo tended bar (and is also a fine chef although, alas, I didn't get the chance to sample his dishes). Above all, Hercilia runs the place magnificently and is also the agent for Ancon Expeditions.  I was there in the rainy season but it wasn't a problem - who cares about a little rain - then it's back to glorious Caribbean sunshine. I'd love to go back for the chilled-out vibe.

A hidden gem, right by the water and away from the crowds

I lived in Bocas del Toro for 4 months and can honestly say that the Bocas Inn offers something unique. It is the perfect medium between a hostel and an overpriced "fancy" hotel. The Bocas Inn is a reasonable price, the breakfast is simple but lovely (fresh fruit, eggs, toast, pancakes, tea/coffee), and the property is in a perfect location both walking distance to town and far enough away from the bars that it is not polluted with noise. The Inn is also right on the water, so you can enjoy your breakfast while looking out on boats passing by. The Bocas Inn grounds manager does a lot to maintain a beautiful garden, making the Inn stand apart from the concrete-jungle of other hotels on the island. The rooms are not spectacular, but they are clean, well-lit, and equipped with an AC unit. Book the Zapatillas room for a nice view of the water!

Simple, lovely, and in a great location!

This was the second time my family stayed at the Bocas Inn. We LOVE this place!! It’s an easy walk to town with many places to eat nearby. There’s a market on the corner. 

This is not high luxury. It is exactly what you need with the most beautiful view and an outstanding breakfast for a good price. It’s also family friendly with a great covered deck to hang out and play games while watching the boats, sunrise, sunset, etc. 

The staff is excellent! We came for my daughters birthday and they surprised her with a cake. They are very kind and welcoming. 


Our Favorite Bocas Inn

This was a great place as it was just a couple of minutes walk from the main square but still quiet. The view from the balcony was beautiful and I had a hammock to lounge in too. Orlando makes a fab breakfast. A very friendly and comfortable stay. 

Lovely sea views

I was visiting Isla Colón in the first week of 2017 and I loved the hotel. It has excellent maintenance in its facilities, the view is spectacular. Rich the breakfast and not to mention the treatment of its staff. I felt at home...

De Estadía?? Naaa in the Family!

The hotel has a great location and is furnished with mattresses and nice seating with wonderful sea views. The staff is very friendly and offers a superb fruit garden. Ideal for those looking for rest.

Super hotel with lovely staff and great sea views

Very welcome. Good room, sea view. Good breakfast. We were $4.136 a night for a room with two big beds.
