I was given a choice between several rooms... I was allowed to see them before choosing... being honest between one and I had cockroaches... the one I picked had a cream color for me was nice, in the bathroom I could see that I had new ceramics, a large TV with wifi... I had a dresser to order clothes, I also had a hook to tend clothes... I had a night table... a furniture... the security of the door from 1 to 5 and I gave a 3... the attention of the receptionist excellent... well located... bakery laundry and markets... nearby.

Restaurant at the Hotel Bella Vista

The hotel is simple but has all the amenities needed, you wouldn't need a minibar in the rooms.The staff is very attentive, always ready to help, the owner is very friendly and receptive, making you want to return to the hotel.The well-stocked bar, a variety of beers, juices.

I booked this hotel to sleep only a few hours at a stopover in Panama. Mainly because it had a shuttle. First of all, the shuttle worked perfectly well. The hotel is extremely simple, with no attractions or features, but it's extremely clean and quiet. The reception staff is excellent. They did everything they could to help me. I recommend it mainly to those who have a short stopover and just want a quiet place to sleep. Bathroom and rooms are very clean.

Simple but efficient

So like always I have an issue with people that pay little for a room but expect luxury.
This is not a luxurious hotel and this is also reflected in the price.
That is why I have this place a 5 star rating because of its price and location it is good value.
It is in the less luxurious part of Panama City but within walking distance to the fancier part of it.
Close by are plenty of shops and eateries and although at first glance it looks a little seedy especially if you arrive at night the area is actually fine.
A two dollar taxi ride will take you to the luxurious part of town near the Hilton hotel area but you can also walk there. 
From the airport somehow I found a local bus station nearby and with help from one of the locals I managed to get on that bus and it actually dropped me off right outside my hotel. The bus ride was only 50 cents. That way I didn't have to wait for their shuttle.
Getting on that bus may be a bit of a challenge but since Iberia did not put my luggage on the correct flight I only had the hand luggage bag with me.
Check in was very smooth although no one at the hotel spoke English. 
The WiFi was free and worked well for me in my room.
Also the elevator looked new and I had no issues staying at this place.
Please consider the price you pay when you take into account whether or not this hotel will accommodate your needs.
Hotel is also within a short drive of ALBROOK airport and Casco Viejo or the Old Town.

Considering the price it is ok

Estuve 2 nights stayed at this hotel and is definitely very convenient if you are passing through, if you have an emergency and need somewhere to stay, or if you are an all-terrain traveler who does not need so many exclusivities (otherwise consider other hotels in the 3 or 4 star area). Its main asset is the location and the economics of its price. The internet is stable but at times can slow down to less than 1 Mbps. The staff is very attentive and I want to emphasize in particular the attention and good attitude of Roxi, both at the restaurant and at the reception, she is a lovely girl.

It is a budget hotel, centrally located and with areas to improve.

Rooms are not nice as in photos. It is very lurky and I did not feel safe nor comfortable during my stay. Sorry but that is my honest opinion. Females traveling alone, NOT recommended.
The hotel advertised free wifi but i could not access any internet.

Poor

We were recommended by a friend who had been there before (you were going to be like at home and has a galaxy star) That's right! We spent two nights, the owners are Gallegos, a love! We spent two afternoons chatting with them a charm!! The rooms are simple with air conditioning, and the bathroom for the price is perfect! The zone is 2-3 dollars by taxi to the old area, fish market.. etc. It's nice that the staff is so pleasant to thank themselves when you are traveling. The restaurant, the cheese steaks are delicious and the toasts for breakfast are also!! Very well related quality-price!

A brilliant hotel in Panama!

It's a simple hotel, but it meets the basic needs of a traveler!! It's located on the main street (Vía España). Three blocks away is the bus station, four blocks away is the metro station (Estación de Santo Tomás). A few blocks away is the Riba & Smith supermarket and also the Machetazo. The hotel offers free shuttle service to the airport and the Albrook mall for those who wish to shop. The hotel has no restaurant, but a small bar where you can eat some empanados or ceviche (that's all about the menu).

It's good and economical!!

Well, first of all, it has a very nice entrance view. It has a nice scent and the ladies at the reception are nice to take away the owner who always has a bad face. I've been staying in the apartments they provide and I don't know what the rooms are like but where I've been there's no internet or Wi-Fi. It has a living room that's always busy with people on the internet and there's always a lot of traffic at night so it's 3-4 in the morning because it's time for the workers to get to bed.
