I spent 3 nights in Isla aguja, in a cabin with private services. The accommodation is spartan and essential, you have to be aware of it before you go to San blas, but all added up also for some pleasant aspects. During our stay it tried terribly for two nights, on that occasion the rain came into the room, luckily hitting the floor and not the beds. This aspect would definitely be improved, at least ensure that it does not rain in the room. The island is beautiful, only that during the day it fills with tourists, resulting in crowded... and this is not what you expect from San blas. A negative aspect was the lack of availability of the inhabitants, we asked to be able to eat an arachnosa (paying a lot of supplements) by arriving at San blas and is denied. One day we were asked to buy the arachnosa with its characteristics, and we also had to buy a lot of it, if we didn't like it, we had to buy the arachnosa, and we denied it.

Low Hospitality

They offered us fish of the day, the whole fish, smaller than the palm of the hand, reseco, pure spinach, tasteless, and black meat. A very bad experience, the beach and the muddy water, bottle caps, beer cases, cans, hats, even a floating shoe. The natives swim hospitalistically, not even responding to greetings. Too bad, too bad. It's a pity that nature has bestowed upon them so much natural beauty and is ruining it.

The worst food.

I went with Viajes San Blas (viajessanblas.com) and it was super bad for me. They are more expensive than the average and offer exactly the same, plus they are impuntual. The site is pretty, but for what it costs, it's better to go elsewhere. With that money you can perfectly afford 3 days in Costa Rica or Colombia with similar seas and better care and infrastructure. The menu was the same for two full days, the cabanas are quite precarious (so far as they cost) and I repeat, it's not something that's worth it and that if I knew it was like that, I wouldn't have done it.

It's not worth it.

The water, the breeze, everything was great and the food was super rich! it is necessary to remember that as they are virgin islands without electricity so it is the perfect place to relax and connect with nature.

 Precious Island!

We spent the day on the island, which has all the amenities: clean water, light and bathrooms. My recommendations if you're going to spend a single day: 1) Panama City Hall at 5:30 am because the road is long. 2) Return from San Blas at 4:00 pm, before the road closes for safety, as you have to cross a mountainous part. 3) Bring water and drinks. In Isla Aguja they have a good restaurant. 4) Pre-order your arrival and transfer. One of the most beautiful places in Panama, you won't regret it!

Extraordinary adventure

We've spent three nights in the huts, it's too many! The huts are unfortunately very poorly maintained, the cleanliness is absent, the structure is fatiguing. Naturally the nature is fantastic, the archipelago is wonderful... but I recommend spending a maximum of two nights the first day to enjoy the island and the second to take a tour of the archipelago with the many boats available.

Fantastic nature

The island is very small with spectacular white Caribbean sand. The cabins made of wood and bamboo, one of the most original places I've slept in. The island has a small bar and public bathrooms (quite dirty) although the cabins have a private one. We rented this island for one day and the next we took a boat tour of the different islands of San Blas. However, I was disappointed that everything was too touristy and we just chose this destination to enjoy it. The island's restaurants are served by locals who don't speak Spanish (speak a dirty dialect) and in the service EXTREMADAMENTE Lentos (use to order the food and tea served in 45 minutes) although the tourist industry likes to explore the area.

Demasiado tourist area

A friend told us about their experience in Kuna Yala and we decided to spend three days and two nights in one of their islands.We informed and agreed with go2sanblas that we wanted to stay in Icodub (Isla Aguja), in a cabin with a wooden floor and private bathroom. Icodub was the perfect choice for our island: it has an excellent beach, it is good for snorkeling, it is well located (not far from the port and close to other attractive islands), it is very well cared for and the services of Yala restaurant are more than right. Relax and relax there is very simple, so if that is what you are looking for, it is highly recommended. We took a boat trip to Kuna Kuna and also to the Kuna Kuna (Antigua) resort, which is a natural resort.

A total experience in paradise.

If you are looking for paradise, I highly recommend these beautiful islands: sun, sea, white beach and so much serenity.

A Real Paradise

We must not confuse rusticity and dirt.No one forces these kunas to turn some of their islands into improved camping.To make them a busine like the others and enjoy what nature has offered them (the turquoise blue and the coconut trees under which you must not train!) we still need to make the least effort.Let's at least believe that we are content to welcome you. Respect the guests by offering them their own island meals and a few sacred but maintained comforts. We are 20 minutes from the port of Carti in a boat, some cabins, some old weekend cabs, some plastic waste and no moons.
