The rooms are Clean and funktional with separate shower and Toilette.
The local staff make a good service and ist absolutely friendly and also can speak english.

Extra wishes will be accepted and fullfilled by the staff for Fred. (Towel, soap, spoons, Plates and so on)

Absolutely wonderful roof terrace to relax and listen ro Musical without disturbing anybody.
Would totally recommend again.

Hidden Juwel

The inn is for sale and it shows as little effort is being put in to maintain it. We stayed here for 7 days and the location was good for what we wanted to do. San Carlos is a nice little town and this is still an ok place to stay in a place where there aren’t a lot of alternatives. The best thing about this inn is the roof top communal sitting area. 
Our room was a good size and the beds were comfortable, however the kitchen supplies were poor, the sheets on my husbands bed were ripped,  one of the fans didn’t work, many of the lights were burnt out and the shower drain was so filthy it didn’t drain properly. Alejandro is the young guy managing it and he is friendly and will provide what you ask for but keep in mind you have to ask for everything. In the 7 days we were there no one came to the room to offer towels or a linen change. This is the only place in Panama we have stayed so far that has supplied only one roll of toilet paper.....ridiculous.....we had to buy our own.

This inn has seen better days

I actually had found the Inn online for sale and thought I'd check it out.  I didn't ask for a tour but did find it very interesting. We liked our room on the main floor with street parking right beside it. It was quite small and very basic. The little patio was very cute though. It had a fridge and a TV and the bathroom was clean. The linens was fresh and clean. I wished the pillow was thicker so I used the sham instead. 

We LOVED the rooftop terrace and we really enjoyed having breakfast up there with a couple of young German travelers. The views were fantastic and it was very cool. There were peak-a-boo views of the ocean as well.  The Breakfast was good and they have a coffee maker that's available all the time. 

Rosa was very helpful and check-in was quick although we were surprised they didn't expect credit cards. It may have said that on the the booking site but I didn't notice it, if so.  Bring cash.

There's a decent restaurant and a grocer right across the street. We loved driving around the village and it was one of the best kept villages we've seen. People smiled at us and there seemed to be a lot of pride in ownership there, unlike some of the places we've seen.  We both fell in love with the village and the Inn.

Cute little inn in a cute little town.

Our family with 2 teenagers and doggie were very happy with this place. The room was surprisingly large with 2 doubles and a single and a kitchenette. Also really high ceilings with several fans in addition to excellent ac kept us all comfortable. 
Breakfast was a delicious bargain at $5pp served in a lovely rooftop piazza. Charming all around. 

Super friendly hosts Paul and Rosa were really attentive and made us all feel welcome. 

Pleasant surprise 

We stayed for a week here. Love the place in this small village. Rosa was very helpful. On day one our A/C broke, within an hour she had the repair guys and it was fixed. The rooftop is probably the best feature. Open air, wet bar, hammock and a BBQ, loved our mornings up here. Nice and close for day trip to El Valle.
