Poor service, poor rooms, these places shouldn't exist for travelers enjoying their holidays, they should provide better service and better quality to customers, so don't enjoy traveling with this quality.

The worst service ever.

I don't know if I was lucky, but my room was on the river and my background noise was the waterfall: relaxing it got old! Even because the structure is a little out of the center (how can you be out in a country that you turn in 7 minutes...) It's not that I spent who knows how much time in the structure, but I have to say I liked it very much, with all its mystical themed paintings, in fact.

Just relax.

The hostel is very comfortable, although in the description of the amenities it said that it had a hair dryer and did not. The rest is fine. I want to highlight the attention of Daniel, from the reception, who helped us tremendously by reaching our backpacks to the train station so that we would not waste time going to the hostel to look for them, as we were returning from Machu Picchu and very just in time to take the train to Poroy, truly, thank you very much!

A comfortable hostel.

I will start by saying that this is a place that I would never choose to stay. However, i was on a tour and had no choice in the matter. The rooms were freezing and unwelcoming.  Check out is at 9. I was traveling with my tiny dog who is my Baby. The love of my life, my soul. We went to Machu Picchu early that day and my guide wouldn’t allow me to take her. I asked if I could leave her in a room but check out was so early. They told me they would be more than happy to watch her and keep her at the reception. I never trust her with anyone but I trusted my guides judgment and they were his close friends.  I made her a bed on the couch with everything that she could need. We were only gone 4-5 hours. When we returned she was gone. They hadn’t even looked for her. They said she probably fell off of the balcony and drowned in the river. This is my 13 year old baby! They had moved her and locked her in a room with an open balcony that went out onto a slippery rain guard that went directly into the raging river. After I searched the town. I was devastated crying in bed. The Mom Alma, and her daughter Julia came and locked me in the room. They held me down in the bed while chanting and rubbing symbols into my forehead with oils. Trying to use sorcery to make me forget that they were responsible  for the death of my beloved baby. They told me that it was meant to happen and that I needed to bless their house and bless their family. The gave me a pathetic gift like it would somehow relate to the only thing precious that i had in this world. They immediately took it back once I got the police involved to search for her. I stayed over a week searching the town in hopes that they tried to steal her or sell her or she got away. They were very suspicious. While everyone in the town was sympathetic and helpful. They were very evil. I can’t begin to mention the horrible nasty things they said to me. They threatened and cursed me. They told me they were angry with me for their negligence leading to the death of my baby. They threatened me and told me they were bad and Bad for me so I should watch out. They are horrible people. Please Don’t support their business!

The most Hostile hostel. the most evil people that I’ve met. Don’t Support Them!!!

Although the pueblolito is very small, this hostel is located almost at the end of the place, reaching the hot springs, it was very late and there was everything dark, a serenazo hotel that saw that I was alone looking for a bathroom approached me and helped me to find it. When I heard everything was almost dead, I noticed that there were no people, the guy from the reception offered me something hot to drink and offered me to sit down for a moment. This hostel was almost at the end of the place, reaching the thermal waters, it was very late and there was everything dark, a serenazo hotel that saw that I was alone looking for a bathroom approached me and helped me to find it. When I heard the manager of the hotel, I could not say that I was alone looking for a bathroom, but when he came to the reception, he asked me to leave the room, and he said that I was in the same place, because he had already left me, and he said that he had left me in the room, because he had made a lot of the reservations, but when he came to the room, he told me that he would probably

Worst treatment and mistreatment by the owner

The property is located in the upper part of Aguas Calientes, just before the hot water pools. In a place that can be quite noisy with all restaurants and cafes around, it is very quiet, actually all that you can hear is the river which is great. Rooms are small, yet cosily decorated with panels of wood and hardwood furniture. Staff were friendly and helpful with plenty of advice and maps for the Machu Picchu trail; they also offerred to store my luggage while I was going up - while it was not the case (I only had my daypack with me), it was a nice gesture. All that at what I found to be a reasonable price. Definitely recommended!

Quiet and comfortable stay, friendly service

Well located hotel, good breakfast. Wifi and hot water correct. But.... we got back one evening around 11:00 to go to our room we found an open room (just next to ours) with a staff member (bearded boy, the oldest) TRIPTING himself. He saw us and went on. Once in our room we opened the door to go get tea, he was behind OUR door in underwear in the black... The next morning, going to our breakfast, we ENCORE surprised him, the door open, everything is TRIPTING itself. Then, he came to us afterwards like this was not very shocking.

Well, but under the shock.

We tried to leave a couple of days in advance at this hotel and the lady who attended said that she was going to send us a link to the email or cell phone and nothing came up.We called to tell her that we were waiting for the email or message and she would tell us again that she was going to send it but never did.Unfortunately, they wasted a lot of time on us.We called another hotel and the answer was immediate.

How bad is it?

Three of us stayed at this hostel and really enjoyed it. The room was clean and they gave us a private room for 4 people even though there was just 3 of us. It’s a bit of a hike but the staff were nice and it was quiet and comfortable. Beds were decent and the white noise sound of the river was nice. We would stay here again.

Clean and friendly

First of all, I was dropped off at the bottom of the hill for my tour, so I had no idea where this place was.  A staff member had retrieved my bags but said the hostel was "up".  Came to find out later after a full day of climbing and walking Machu Picchu that I had to walk up 10 blocks of stairs/street, nothing flat.  Just climbing.  It seemed as though the better restaurants were below and I had no desire for climbing the rest of the night.   Room was cold but they did provide a nice breakfast in the morning.   My bad experience was that there was a spider bigger than the size of a quarter that dropped from the ceiling onto me.  Yes, I had the light on when it happened
