I had to stay for a night in this place. There was no hot water at all, no matter how long you wait, or time of the day is. In the room there’s no a wardrobe or even a hanger, the soap in the bathroom was used, wifi not working at all. The buffet and the kitchen are on the 4th floor, just next to your room and the noise won’t let you sleep no matter how tired you are. I can keep going on with this... like you can get your coffee from the thermos labeled “hot water”!
I’ve been in many hotels around the world, but this one is a huge mistake! Don’t do it!

I don't recommend this hotel for anything in the world. To get there you have to go through a very dark alley. WiFi NEVER worked!! Given that we were in a very distant place where it was very difficult to have a good signal, that it wasn't a problem for them (I had already been in hot water 3 days ago in another hotel and the connection was always good) They can't make calls from the room or the front desk, the reason being that the desk was not in charge at the time and they didn't know how to do it.

Not if you stay in this hotel.

Luckily we only stayed one night here and it was only to sleep. We checked in as a group  and immediately wanted to check back out. The windows had been left open so there were a ton of bugs flying around and the rooms all smelled horribly. I had to febreeze everything on the bed to try and even lay down on the bed. In addition there was hair from someone else on the bed, in the shower, on the mirror, among other places. It wasn't just our room either. We were part of a group and everyone's room was dirty and smelled.

The hotel lacks some basic services. There was no hot water whatsoever. The sink was clogged. The room had an open window to the common stairs, and whole night I did hear everyone who was talking while getting to/from their room, as well as TV from another room on the floor. The staff was unfriendly - it took quite some time to check in. The reception feels like a storage room. Internet is weak (could not connect).

In retrospective, I do regret not spending $100 for a better accommodation.

Never again

This place is absolutely awful. The staff is extremely rude and un helpful and the room was dirty. They say they have wifi wich is a joke it barely works and when it does its ridiculously slow. There is also barely any hot water. This place was booked through a travel agency and we didn't bother to ask before hand where we were staying. Make sure if you book with an agency you ask before hand where you are staying so you cam avoid an awful experience like we had.

Horrible

The hotel is a bit far from the center, but the village is small. The staff is very nice. There is real hot water, which is not always the case in this region of the word :). The rooms and the beds are comfortable and clean. You can leave your luggage for free during the visit of Machu Picchu. The internet is quite good and it exists :). The only thing is that there are not windows to the outside, but it is only a stop to go to visit Machu Picchu and it passes.

We stayed at this hotel one night only and despite the tiredness we felt from the Inca Trail, we realized that the hotel was not what it says in its sales, the rooms and the interior with staircase windows, no ventilation or natural light, we were staying in a room on the 4th floor that we had to climb up the stairs, the breakfast was served very early, the variety was scarce, the cleaning was okay.

A clean and comfortable hostel, a basic but sufficient breakfast, is relatively close to the hot springs, the only observation is that they do not have an elevator, the receptionists and service personnel are quite friendly.

The hotel was pretty bad for the price you pay. The room wasn't so clean. When we bathed the water was half lukewarm and if someone in the next room started bathing you run out of hot water completely! From the bathroom to the next room there is a window that leads to the bathroom! Anyone can see you! At the exit they assured us that it was not paid and we booked through Expedía who had already done the cargo for us. Total they swore that there was no payment and we paid in cash. Obviously afterwards we realized that if we had already paid and talked to complain, they would say no, that they would not charge us in cash. A robbery!!!

We got double the price and a very bad hotel!

I went to this hotel thanks to the agency Xtreme Tourbulencia because I made the trek from Salkantay and I slept in this hotel the day before the visit to Machu Picchu, and I recommend this hotel because from the 5th floor you have a view of the entire village of Aguas Caliente, the room is very clean, the shower and bathroom very luxurious. With the TV you have the option to go to the Internet, Youtube etc. Lunch is available from 4am and it is very varied with the possibility to ask to cook eggs! When you want to go to Machu Picchu the hotel has a local where you can leave your luggage and then come pick them up after your visit to Machu Picchu.
