It's bit out of the city centre in a quiet place. The toilets are clean. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. The main guy is very helpful and speaks good English. I stayed here two nights and enjoyed my stay. The lounge area is nice to read. Wifi is strong. 

Cheap nice hostel

I reserved a triple room with private bathroom.
When I arrived in the afternoon there was no hot water, but the attendant granted me hot water from 5 p.m. Well when I came back very tired at 9 p.m. the water was chilly and in the meantime also the toilet flush broke. They had no other similar room available and we left right away!

Never again!

As told in other comments, the place is basic, but it perfectly suited our needs: nice people, friendly, always willing to help. We received all the information we needed but decided to do the trips by ourselves (except for the Colored Mountain - cheaper than via other agencies). And it perfectly worked.
This is the only place we stayed at in Cusco, no need to look for something else.
I would maybe not recommend it for a couple, but for a single person or friends this is a very good place to stay.
Thanks again for the hospitality and availability! Will definitely come back if I have to stay in Cusco again.

Nice place for backpackers

If you are looking for a cheap place to stay in the really expensive Cusco area, this is a good option. Unfortunately, for us it was a little bit too basic. 

First the good news: 
We booked a double room, which was fine. Enough space, and enough blankets to keep us warm during the night. Besides of the room, the staff was absolutely amazing. The host was really interested and extremely friendly! If it was only because of the staff, I would have given 5 stars! 

Con's: 
The biggest problem of this accommodation is that they multiple dorms and double rooms, but only two (!) restrooms/bathrooms. Every time it was a struggle to go to the bathroom. There was a cue all the time, and this morning my boyfriend couldn't even go because there was simply no opportunity. They accommodate groups of schoolchildren and it was really impossible to go without standing in a line for 15 minutes. Also there is no water pressure in the afternoon, so they shut down the water during the night. As a result, no one is able to flush the toilet which was extremely gross. Imagine the smell.. 

Conclusion, great staff and fine room but REALLY basic facilities.
