La Casa De Carmen 

Casa de Carmen isn’t just a beautiful hostel – it truly feels like home. The atmosphere is so warm and familial, and you can ask about anything, whether it’s for great restaurant recommendations, advice on local prices, or even getting a taxi called. The breakfast is always wonderful, with fresh avocados straight from their own garden in Calca, and a freshly made fruit smoothie every morning. I also got along really well with her brother, if you're open to it, they really welcome you like family – even the dog! Everything is done with so much love and care, and you can feel it in every detail. I’ve come back here multiple times and was even able to store my things safely between visits. They’ve also been kind enough to let friends drop off items for me when we couldn’t meet in person. You’re always offered coca tea (or other teas if you prefer) at any time of the day. The only small issue was that the shower didn’t stay warm for long, and the rooms can get a bit chilly. But with all the cozy blankets, I never felt cold in bed. The WiFi also works well.
