Didnt finally stay there as an owner is a cheater. He agreed with us conditions, we came twice to this place and made a payment in advance for the room. We came back late and tired after 1 day trip - and then comedy started at the reception. They sold our room to someone else, even tough we had paid for it earlier. They said we have to  take bunk beds without bathroom for 1 night for the same price and then they will move us - which would be probably another empty promise.
Anyway, be aware that their word and your payment might be worth nothing as they do not care about their customers, rather their short sight interest.

Beware - they will cheat on you

I stayed at Marlon's House both in Cusco and Arequipa, and it was great to have that continuity of service. Marlon booked the Salkantay Trek for me while I was still in Arequipa, though unfortunately my plans changed last minute, so they organised a different tour for me with no real hassle. 

The hostel is quiet and really close to Plaza de Armas, as well as being just a few minutes from the San Pedro Market. I booked both a private room with a bathroom as well as dorm rooms during my stay. It's great budget accommodation, but I have to say the real value comes from their location and travel/tours service.

Great location and awesome tours

I won't go into details, just bear in mind that there is only one toilet and one shower room to be shared and worse of all they are located in the patio right next to the reception. So imagine staying in a dorm room on the first floor ....
Also, the bathroom in one of the dormitory rooms has only one knob in the shower...where only steamy, hot water comes off. No way to equalize the temperature. When I told the staff they tried to fix it from downstairs and as a result I had a lukewarm-coldish shower. 
The only good think about this place is the proximity at the Plaza de Armas.

dorm rooms to be avoided

We Stayed at Marlon's 3 nights and booked our tours through them also. We had in our room (upstairs)  had a nice hot shower and comfy bed. 

Cusco is a cold city so I don't think there's much places with heating so be prepared with some heavy clothing.

For tours we were really impressed for their professionality everything was explained on detail and everything promised was kept. we were originally thinking to arrange machu picchu ourselves, but their pricing for a hassle free trip was too good to pass.

 We also did sacred valley vip trip which we can highly recommend also.

Overall if your looking for a reliable tour operator in Cusco we can definitely recommend using Marlon's travel.

Ps. the san piedro market is 3 minutes walk away from Marlon's and is a must a place to visit!

Visit to cusco & machu picchu

Marlon's House satisfied my expectations even thouhg they have room for improvement on their facility at Educandos street.
The best of the best was the organization of all the tours by the proffesional and kind personnel, specially Mary and Marlene.

I booked a single room with private bedroom. The room was cosy and pretty quiet (compared to other hostels I stayed in). 
The wifi was good, which is important if you need it to plan your trip.
If you book a dorm, keep in mind that there is only 1 shower and 1 toilet (next to the kitchen btw) for all of the guests.

Maybe one thing that can be improved: I had to leave the hostel in the middle of the night to go on a trek. There was nobody in the reception, the door was closed. I had to knock on every door to find somebody to let me out. 

Overall, pleasant stay.
