One of the best hotels I ever stayed at!
I was in Cusco for 3 weeks and as I was traveling outside the city too, I booked my stay at Illas Inn three times during this time (booked all three in advance), leaving and coming back.
They were amazingly accommodating with everything I asked, from keeping my suitcase everytime I left to every other extra request. The nicest staff i ever met! Always smiling and making sure i was OK, striking conversations, helping with advice where to go.
And then I found myself needing them for a fourth time , out if the blue! My flight was canceled due to the Lima airport being closed all of a sudden, and I found myself taking a taxi back to the hotel at midnight, with no prior phone call or anything. And they were amazing, right away gave me my previous room and calmed me down.
I will stay only at Illas Inn every time I'll come to Cusco! (of course it's Aldo very comfortably located in the center of the city, close to everything and in a quiet neighborhood, which helps 😉)

Great hotel, with the most amazing and friendly staff

Illa's inn offered excellent hospitality and service. The location is pretty strategic as it's within 3 mins walking distance to the Wanchaq station, so no taxi needed when you are heading to Machu Picchu early in the morning or late in the evening. The receptionist named Alex was very informative and helpful. Gave us the name to an awesome restaurant called La Quinta Cocina Peruana. For its price, the bedroom was decent. We had the 2 twin beds because that's all available when booking  but it had a private bathroom, with nice hot water.  The breakfast was good. It had fried eggs, ham, bread, juice, coffee and milk.

The receptionist named Alex was very informative and helpful. For its price, I think the bedroom was decent. It has private bathroom, bed, TV, 2 bedside tables and a desk. The breakfast was good but not that variative. It had fried eggs, ham, bread, granola, juice, yoghurt and milk. But one thing to note is the bedroom doesn't have heater. So when the room temperature is very cold in the midnight, it can be hard to sleep.

Decent room and great hospitality

Wonderful experience! Everyone was so nice, bed was comfortable, great service, good free breakfast, and very close to the Wanchaq bus station to Machu Picchu (2 min walk). The front desk staff helped us every step of the way, with every request we had.

Great place!

We only stayed here for one night on a stop to Machu Picchu and what a great experience we had! We would definitely stay here again in the future, on short or long stays.
The staff is very friendly, the room is spacious and bed super comfortable.

Went above and beyond excellent breakfast, great location. Staff is very friendly and always willing to help. They even gave us a care package for our morning tour! Will def come back here again if I’m back in Cusco. Keep up the amazing work!!

Amazing!

Illa’s Inn went above and beyond to make our stay smooth, at home, comfortable, and even safe.  From booking us a last-minute stay when our initial hotel did not work out to helping our family in a health emergency, our stay in Cusco would not have been the same had we not booked with Illa’s.  All four of us highly recommend!

A great stay!

Illa’s Inn was very comfortable and good stay of our overall trip with family. Jose helped in everything whether it was explaining what/how to do in cusco region, exchange money, laundary or packing light b’fast for super early excursions. This is place we will go back to stay if we are again in the area. Thanks to team illa’s for a wonderful stay. 

Amazing place & service

We spent 8 nights here in May.  This was an incredible find!  We had a huge room (I think the room type was the family room)with a view of the garden area.  Like most hotels in South America there is no heat, but there were extra blankets available and they had heaters available upon request.  The bed was soft and comfortable and the pillows were fluffy ( just like we like them :) )Breakfast was amazing every day they had something warm aside from the normal buffet items.  One day it was tamales…they were so good.  We never left breakfast wanting something more.  It was a wonderful start everyday.  One day we had an early tour and they provided us with a to go breakfast that was very appreciated!  The hotel decorations were also amazing.  Everyone was friendly and helpful.  The building is safe and secure.  We were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go.  We would definitely recommend this place!!

Don’t miss this amazing place!

This hotel staff went above and beyond to help me, They arranged my tours, provided all the information on local cuisines to restaurants. They also have a beautiful little garden to chill. Highly recommend.
