Perfectly located with charm and great hospitality this accommodation is excellent value for money. Great views, delicious breakfast included I found the spacious accommodation everything I needed and more. Clean and comfortable- consider this wonderful spot for your stay in Cusco.

Beautiful accomodation

We had a very nice room on 2 floors. 
Once I needed something and asked how to find it; the receptionist said - I will get it for you, wait 2 minutes- 
We only can say that it was a very good place; helpfull, clean and a nice view too.

We had 9 good days here.

We stayed here one night after returning from Machu Picchu and it is the cleanest hotel ever. Delicious breakfast. Great stuff. A nice view of the city from the dining room. On a tiny little small street with no automobiles. It’s close to the plaza with a convent and a short Uber ride from the center of the city. We loved this hotel. Small and quiet and comfortable and spotlessly clean we stayed here one night after returning from Machu Picchu and it is the cleanest hotel ever. Delicious breakfast. Great stuff. Tiny Sparkling  Gem Hotel

My tour company booked this hotel and it turned out to be the worst of the six different 3 star hotels on our South American vacation.  And even worse for us, we had to stay here two separate times and the 2nd time was worse than the first.

So what were the issues:

- small cramped, cold rooms. I was banished to the bottom floor. No view except of the interior courtyard. Even the space heater couldn’t keep the room warm despite running it all night long and the thing was noisy and kept us awake half the night. 

- tiny tv hung crooked on the wall with poor signal and no English speaking stations. Every other hotel had at least one English station

- spotty, slow internet. Yeah, I know it’s Cusco, but other hotels get their WiFi working well so can’t use that excuse. 

- poor location. Everyone says it’s great cause your high up the hillside, but what good is that if you don’t have a view. If you want to walk to the square, it’s a nice walk down, but a struggle getting back up at 11,000’ in altitude. And our tour guides couldn’t get close and one dropped us off at the Plaza de Armas saying he didn’t want to get stuck up on the hill. Get a hotel located closer to the main square. 

- disinterested staff. Yeah, there was a language barrier, but I’m trying to talk to you, please try and do the same. My gut tells me that I got stuck on the bottom floor in a cramped room because they were biased. They were friendly with Spanish speaking customers, but didn’t smile with me or my wife. And I’m not some stuck up Norte Americano either. I’ve travelled all over the world and have been treated better in most of it.

- breakfast was a disappointment. The one cook struggled to keep up with the number of guest so much of the time, you couldn’t get what you wanted. Only one day could I get the pancakes and only one day was yogurt available. 

I really wanted to like this hotel because it’s cute and not a chain, but you would be better served by going elsewhere. 

Too many reasons not to stay here

lovely little Botique hotel nestled in San Blas . Close enough to all the places you ll need , resturants , souviniers , and the church 
just 2 minutes walk from the nearest road and you ll be there .
Simple and fresh cooked and  well stocked breakfast restaurant will have you ready for the days exploring 

lovely and clean well sized rooms , helpful staff 
 we stayed there on 2 seperate times on our touring , and had the pleasure of 2 seperate rooms :)

We stayed at Tandapata Boutique hotel for two nights after came back from Machu Picchu. The hotel rooms were located downstairs and you have to walk down and up a flight of stairs. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. They were helpful to assist us carrying the luggage up and down the stairs. We were assigned to a family room just for two of us. Therefore, the room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom has good hot water pressure. Our room has two heaters and extra warm blankets. The hotel was located in a very central location within walking distance to Plaza de Armas. There were a few restaurants close to the hotel. The hotel has a storage area for luggages. The breakfast was simple but nice. The view at the breakfast area was beautiful which overlooking the Cusco city. 

Nice Boutique hotel in San Blas

We stayed at this lovely hotel for the night before and after a five day trek. This was the most comfortable room we experienced in south America and it is very reasonably priced. The shower is excellent and the included breakfast is delicious, with the dining area overlooking the main area of Cusco. 

Two night stay

We had a 2 night stay here, between a trip to Aguas Calientes.
The rooms are basic but clean, and reasonably large. Large bathroom as well. Nice big beds to rest in. It is quiet but can get a bit cold in the room.
Breakfast room is on the top floor, with nice views of the city and the mountains around it. The food is basic but of good quality and tasty.
The hotel is located in a pedestrian street just above Plaza San Blas. It is about 5 blocks, all downhill, to Plaza de Armas, so it's easy to get to, but less so when walking back to the hotel.
Staff is nice and helpful. We left our luggage when in Aguas Calientes.
