Not because of the hostel with the rooms and the kitchen is great, but because of the people there! Everyone is super open and helpful! Although we arrived at 6 a.m., we were immediately explained everything, a blanket and tea were brought to us. The hostel owner sacrifices himself for each individual guest - that is, he also gets up at 4 a.m. to take you to the train to Machu Picchu personally. Overall, all the tours he sells there are absolutely worthwhile and tried out! Furthermore, there are super-extra offers like cooking Peruvian food or barbecue evenings - the owner is also a chef at the same time! Simply, just brilliant - for the real affordable prices!:) 

Absolutely worth it!

Inka city is a very welcoming hostel, outside of the city center of Cusco (15 minutes walking), cheaper than the other hostels. The frontyard with a barbecue and a firepit is perfect to chill or pitch a tent, they have two dorms (one mixed, one for ladies only). The common parts are clean all day long, the volunteers are very efficient and nice. It's possible to park one car in the frontyard, secured and accessible all day. Good wifi, hot water, fully equiped kitchen.
They also offers daytrips to Valle Sagrado, Rainbow Mountain or two-days trips to Machu Picchu, among the cheapest in town. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It's a perfect place to spend some days, visit and relax.

An ideal hostel for backpackers, with everything you may need, complete breakfast included, lockers with security, spacious and comfortable beds, shower with hot water, wi-fi and kitchen.In addition, the staff is very close and friendly, you can book excursions directly with them, and even keep your backpack if you are a few days out.It has a patio and the possibility to wash your clothes or use your laundry at a very good price.The only draw is that it is a little far from the center (10 minutes walk), but in contrast the area is very quiet and no noise at night.

Ideal for exploring cuzco and its surroundings.

The hostel staff are very friendly to attend.The place is safe and has several bathrooms.It has a cozy dining room and a kitchen.The place where the beds are set is made up of two environments, one mixed and one single female.

Hostel cusco is excellent.

The open minded hospitality can be found in the hostal's set-up (3 (!!!) bathrooms with hot water, breakfast included, women's only dorm, garden, cleanliness, tidiness, laundry service) as well as the owner's and the volunteers' friendliness, helpful advices, and trustworthy behavior towards travellers.

Simple, clean, welcomming atmosphere

Ideal for bagpackers, friendly and willing to help or deliver the necessary information.You can book tours directly at the hostel.On the contrary, the wifi constantly fell and the dining room got smaller at night.

According to the price and pleasant environment.

If you prefer not to stay in the very city center of Cusco, this is your place to be! The Hostel is nice and quiet. There is a huge frontyard for either camping (if you have an own tent) or hanging out. Only dorms (one for women, one mixed) are available, but works fine. Beds are comfortable and sheets are clean & keep you warm.

A basic breakfast (bread, butter, marmalade, eggs, coffee & tea) is served in the mornings and hot water for tea is available all day - very nice! Bathrooms are of course shared and mostly clean. Kitchen was very clean (compared to many other places) and could be used by everybody. Tipp: There is a very good and cheap bakery just around the corner. The local market (for fresh fruits and vegetables) is also very close.

Staff are mainly volunteers, so service depends on who is there. The owner is available most of the time and very helpful with explanations and tipps where and how to go (e.g. only 60 soles for transport to and from Machu Picchu). Just ask anything you want to know ;) 

A walk to the city center takes around 15 minutes. Not a bad area, so you can even walk there during night time. We really enjoyed our stay and can only recommend for the price!

Nice & quiet – good value for money!

My sister and I booked two beds in a women 8 beds dorm room. It was welcoming, relatively clean, the wifi was good (but not great), the main bathroom was ok (a little smelly but everything worked well), there is a large garden were you can relax, the breakfast is simple, it is eccentric from central Cusco (20min by foot) but it is calm and you can find good local restaurant for very cheap prices and good food.
The value for your money is great!
The best detail is that we didn't got cold during the night!!
