Inka Wild Hostel

A few hundred meters from the main square we found ourselves in this hostel. We booked it for about a week and we were lucky enough to happen to be in a quiet room with a few other people. Structure all said and done okay, nice the central room with the sofas, but the plus is a very cute black kitten wandering around the facility looking for cocktails. Also good breakfast and nice the hotel bar where you can drink and eat at good prices. Convenient to get picked up for the excursions that go daily to the various valley attractions.

Convenient to the center

My husband and I stayed at Inka Wild for a weekend and enjoyed it so much we came back to eat and drink at the bar, and stayed for several more nights! The private room was spacious and clean, the shower was hot, and even with the bar downstairs it was quiet. The food is good and very fairly priced. We enjoyed the atmosphere very much, we returned often to play Sapo, the game of Peru. The staff was very nice, especially Mario, who taught us how to play Sapo and helped us find local services.

Great Place to Stay!

Don't get me wrong, this place is not luxury. But for the price, this is a fab place to stay. Comfy bed, clean (enough) bathroom, plenty of games to play, many places to relax and a decent bar. Thanks for a great stay.

Excellent value for money.

We stayed only for one night. Staff was excellent. Very friendly, open and helpful. We really like Bar and common area with hammocks. Unfortunately rooms aren’t nice. Dark, not the cleanest. We didn’t like it. 
Overall for this price it’s ok hostel to stay. If you are not planning to spend too much time in your room, but in common area or just visiting cusco and surroundings then should be good enough.

Great staff, great bar, not the best rooms

So I wasn´t actually at the hostel but they went over the top, considering this isn´t supposed to be custom service. My best friend started a 3 month solo adventure and I asked them if I could surprise her with a letter, to which they said yes. I wrote my letter and sent them via email. The best part is that she wouldn't check in until a few days later, so I thought they'd eventually forget, but then she texted me with a cool thank you!
Thank you for making me be there, even though I wasn't!

Great Attention to detail!

The hostel is super situated, has clean rooms, good food and fair prices. You can book tours right at the hostel that are super organized. The staff is nice and helpful. I would book a room here again right away.

Super hostel

Watch out, stealing personnel! 
We were already disappointed with our room (private double room), which was really small, very cold and had no windows. But it got worse and we found out that 40 dollar was stolen from a hidden pouch within our backpack. When we told the hostel, they basically said we were wrong because they have ‘very trustworthy personnel’. 
So avoid all this and book another place in Cusco, there are a lot of nice and safe places to stay. 

The worst hostel - Stealing personnel! 

In the hostel there isnt option to pay only for lodging and you mast pay on breakfast. I have celiac, I can't eat gluten (flour).  At breakfast served only bread with jam (forced to pay for something I can't eat)

Clean rooms, cleaned everyday if requested. 
Location is good, and only a 10-15 min walk from everything. 

The price is good value. Not the most 'fancy' and the rooms are dark, but its a party hostel (good for one night if you're stopping over and don't mind being disturbed by noise).

Good value for money

This is a hostel that could use a little work with its bathroom service and handling of customers at the concierge. But it has a great restaurant that offers good deals and most of all they have Mario. Mario is the absolute man. He puts the customer first and went out of his way on several occasions to make me feel right at home. This place would not be the place it is without him.
