I don't recommend this place.

We stayed here for one night and just the thought of it gave me aids. As we arrived the receptionist couldnt find our booking, but she had one room left, in this moment a prostitute and a client just walked by and entered another room. We decided to take it anyway because we were tired and the location was great, eventhough the room looked like a room from a horror movie, the walls were full of mold and the bedsheets were moist and dirty. I expect more for this price... would not recommend

Nasty!!

I stayed in this hostel because its price was attractive and definitely very well located, in Miraflores.However, the disappointment was total.It is the worst hostel I have stayed in.It is very poorly maintained, the paint is falling, the mattresses were dirty, the clothes percha was a hook on the TV stand.It is not like the photos that appear from the rooms.

The photos are fake.

THE NEGATIVE: The breakfast is very poor and without variants, the kitchen appliances are few and in poor condition.The lack of staff, the gentleman who serves the breakfast should be concerned about the passengers arriving, those leaving, besides the breakfast seems excessive to me, or the Mrs. Maria who is cleaning and receptionist at the same time, is too much, I even feel sorry to criticize the cleaning because the problem is FALT of staff, I suggest to the owner that he inspect under the beds or move a mower which I had to do unfortunately as he found dust for a long time, just like the bathrooms that have good mowers, the thermal room is in his interior and others.

Excellent location  Excellent location

The location is great, close to Parque Kennedy, restaurants, bars, banks, shopping centres and supermarket. We are a couple with a 2 year old and we stayed in a 4-person room with my mother in law. The room, beds, and bathroom were all very clean (although the place is a little run down and definitely not luxurious). Considering it is centrally loacted and on a main road, it is very quiet here (unusual for hotels in Lima). This does not seem like a party hostel (which suited us well). The breakfast is simple and the kitchen basic, but clean and had everything we needed for a few days. We found the staff very helpful and attentive. Our son was sick while we were here and they were very sympathetic and helpful. There is free wifi in all rooms and a computer available for use. The quality of the internet is good. The rooms had 24 hour hot water (which was actually hot and consistent, unusual for Lima).

Great location, nice staff, good value, don´t expect luxury

The hostel is on Larco Avenue, it's quite well located and the staff is very kind, Miss María helps us very much in our visit to Peru, and she cares about us that everything goes well, even if we look for a taxi at a much more affordable price, the hostel towards quite hot, and not that it was very clean altogether, the bathroom was stuck, but then if it was safe, there is a kitchen that you can use if you want and included the breakfast in the price, which was prepared by a gentleman who worked there very kindly too, at the hostel price is very nice, in great quality, but if you go on a backpack plan better than us and you don't want to spend a lot of money on what you use and sleep for that, then it's perfectly fine to go to the bathroom after 16 days and get to know each other, so if you want to get to know each other well, you can go to the country, so it's good to go back to the country, so if you want to get to know each other, you can get to know each other.

Good location and personal very friendly.

I visited this hostel may years ago. It used to have a cool Rasta vibe. I booked a single room here last week for a few notes. Oh boy...it was a big letdown. The room was dirty and run down, the bed was filthy, I had a bunch of flea bites within an hour.

On the positive note, the people at the front desk are very nice and the location is great. You get an ok breakfast in the morning with coffee. Would I recommend it? For a few extra bucks you will find much better options.



Has gone down big time

We stayed there one night before we got back on the plane. We took 2 double bedrooms (one double bed and 3 single beds in the other) for 205 soles. The price is announced in soles (on booking, 190 soles) but the manager told him at his price in USD and made a very disadvantageous change if you pay in soles. Both rooms were dirty and the walls very dirty. No expensive towels but it balked better I think. The rooms with 3 beds smelled the urine. Plus a lot of details... to avoid except for its price that doesn't stay for lima..

Very limited!

The good thing was the bed was comfortable and the lockers were huge and you only need your own padlock. Breakfast was 2 buns with jam and butter, coffee and juice. Kitchen and fridge available for you to use at any time.
Bad thing is, the toilet wasn't really clean, i saw a cockroach 1 of the nights. The staff couldn't speak English at all but they still tried their best to help. The room was toooo hot! Only 1 standing fan available, if you are having a bed not near the fan, it would be even worse!

Bed in a Mixed Dorm

I was disappointed that the photos on the website were nothing like the room I was given. My room was much grubbier and the bedding was stained and very unappealing. When I needed to leave early in the morning, the front door was locked and no one was to be found. However, the staff was pleasant, the shower was lovely and hot and the room was very quiet (on the top floor at the back). A basic breakfast of coffee, juice and bread was included which was handy. The location is great too. Recommended only if you're on a tight budget and can't find anywhere better for the same price!
