Una pena. Somos limeños y fuimos para tomar un pisco sour clásico. Nos attendeó un señor que aparentemente hablaba muy poco español, de ascendencia china. No nos quiso dar una carta, nos cobro 30 soles por un pisco sour y 40 soles por un chicano. En cualquier lugar de lima hay pisco sours mejores, la receta era básica y no vale la pena. El precio está fuera de lugar. No volvería nunca más. I can say as peruano y como limita que este lugar ya fue. NO VALE LA PENA.

It's not worth it.

De corazón no vayan, avoid having a bad time. The potato to the huancaina flavored with ajos. The rice with chicken and the green tallarin with chicken to the board (the chicken to the board size of a host) horrible. No digo del lomo saltado because they took so long, my family had finished lunch and the lomo saltado that I asked no llegaba (Thank God) so I decided to cancel it.

It is HORRIBLE.

I had never been to a hotel like this before. The walls were damp (even the hair on the wall grows), untied and dirty. The carpet was of different shades, depending on the dirtier area. The interior of the bathroom had a concrete-covered drawer. The toilet was untied everywhere. The towels were a gray color that was once white. The smell of the room gets into more airways and you can't get rid of it easily. Breakfast is an insult. It is a pity that a building with that history is in the hands of people who attack public health. It could be a wonderful boutique hotel in the right hands.

No guest, I went to try the famous Pisco Sour and since it was close to lunch time, my friends and I decided to have lunch there, Horrible the food!!! A place like this can be wasted, with no reason.

It's a pity.

A great disappointment with that hotel, among all those who have gone the worst and most unhygienic, with its beds filled with dust, stained with bodily fluids, which are an infectious focus for the guest, as well as its completely dirty and stained carpets.

The worst experience.

We stayed for the weekend, very good location in the center of Lima, quite quiet, clean, comfortable and safe. We were satisfied, we will definitely return. The staff was friendly. The room was comfortable and cozy.

Very recommended.

The buidling is a little old but the rooms are clean, the beds fairly comfortable, and the staff was helpful (especially the lady who was working over nights). Arranged cabs for us no problem, spoke enough Engligh to make up for my terrible Spanish, and had no trouble with us doing an increadibly late check in (after midnight). Very close to the historical centre, about 30 min from the airport, and 20 or so from the main bus station.

Exactly As Expected

Its infrastructure is old but very pleasant and harmonious, its service is excellent and it is noted that they seek to solve any inconvenience that one may have. Its breakfasts are not very varied but are so delicious, its weak point is the air conditioning since in general the rooms in summer are a bit hot. Its location is unsurpassed as they are located a block from the main square and several historical attractions, in addition to the walking tours that are instructive and fun, and very well connected with public and private transportation.....in general a very pleasant and well connected place with the history of Lima.

A pleasant place in Lima

Without a doubt, the Maury Bar is very beautiful, picturesque and makes you think of the countless celebrities who would have been there.In fact, here was born the Pisco Sour, but this one is not so good, if it has lost the tradition in its elaboration, hopefully it will recover, because it is not only a business but also our living history.
