Beautiful place to stay at. Percy was awesome, very helpful.
Hotel has a very calm and peaceful environment, at sunset string lights light up the place making it even more beautiful. On a clear night you will see a beautiful starry sky.

This place is magic! Beautiful scenery, very well maintained. Cabin was clean and had all what we needed. Staff was very kind and helpful, food was great. Perfect place to rest and have fun at the same time.

A place you must visit!

Excellent Hotel.
The service was over my expectations.
The food in the restaurant was delicious. And the employees are awesome. Very recommended it's pet friendly and relaxing the bungalow are very comfortable 

Excellent hotel for rest and recharge battery :)

To be honest, the hotel experience has been so pleasant that I have not paid attention to the mattress and pillows. The double cabin and matrimonial cabin, very neat and with just what is necessary to be comfortable. The view wherever you settle it's breathtaking, the entire hotel and green areas with impeccable maintenance.
Percy the Main host it's so carefull with guests make You feel pretty pleased and makes us forget everything about job and the caos of city that we wanted as our goal. We we're here with My girlfriend, parents and uncles.
Thanks Sauce Lodge, Percy and all their crew that makes us enjoy this little piece of heaven that You offer.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Sauce Lodge for 3 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed the ambience, the tranquility, the nature, the regional food and especially the laguna and the pool! The room was clean, comfortable and spacious and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful at all times. We highly recommend!

A Trip to Paradise

It's a beautiful place in front to the Laguna Azul with the vegetarian of the jungle with a plenty room. The people are very kind and 10 of service for my family.
I hope return 🙏  with more family for enjoy the best place

The best place

This place is beautiful, calm and quiet. The view help you to rest. We enjoyed the  pool and  the lagoon. The rooms are comfortable. We really want to come back. If you want to come in contact with nature, Sauce lodge and their tours is the place

Honey moon

We were impressed by such a beautiful place, out of the ordinary and relaxing to the everyday. A place to disconnect from everything, very quiet and excellent service.
We arrived unexpectedly without planning it and we were satisfied with the desire to stay and there is no doubt that we will return again.
Very nice bungalows, complete with an excellent view.
The workers are very committed to their guests, they provide you with everything you want and are always there to assist you.

BEAUTIFUL PLACE AND RELAXING

When we arrived the lady who welcomed us (Lucy) did not have any dollars to give us change, so we asked for a solution and she suggested us to pay the reservation once we leave by sending the money back with a taxi... we did not think this was a formal and safe solution to approach the situation and felt very uncomfortable by the fact that they did not wanted to receive the payment in US dollars (when the booking.com reservation was made in US dollars). She insisted that we pay the rest of the reservation in Peruvian Nuevos soles and to send her the money with a taxi.

The next day we woke up by 8 am and Lucy (the lady in charge) told us the day before that breakfast was included and it started from 8am to 10am... we were at the dining room by 8:30 am and it took them almost 40 minutes to get the breakfast ready. (This happened for the rest of our stay). So if you are making plans, do not spect to have breakfast on time because they won’t have it for you.

For lunch we ordered one day before a Juane (a traditional amazonian dish) and the same day we gave them a reminder 40 minutes before lunch to have this dish ready for us, but surprisingly Lucy (the lady in charge) did not have this ready one hour later and she told us she couldn’t get the ingredients plus we had to ordered it one hour before. We told her we asked one day before to have this ready.... so finally she told us we could take a moto taxi to Rustica Restaurant and have lunch there (it was almost 15:00 and we were starving to death). 

The facilities of the hotel are nice and the landscape is beautiful but once in our bungalow we found out that our blankets were dirty. We kindly asked Lucy if house keeping could clean and change our blankets ... we left the bungalow after breakfast and after 5 hours nobody came to clean our room. We had to asked twice for this and it felt like we were asking for a favor.

The third day, there was a big horse poop at our bungalow doorstep and again it took them years to get this clean... We were the only guests in the entire hotel so we were not sure exactly what kept them so busy to the point they left us so unattended. I don’t know exactly what is the concept of client service for them but this people lack of proactivity and it felt very annoying to keep constantly asking for a service that it is supposed to be included. 

Client service has a lot to improve

This lodge is located just at front of Laguna Azul and blends with the beauty of the area. Confortable rooms all with great views of the Laguna. Personnel is kind and welcoming.the food could improve a bit and have more variety of dishes. Definetely a place to relax and do some aquatic activities.
