We touch the room on the first floor, quite noisy since several windows separated directly from the breakfast and reception tables, we had to be careful to keep the curtains tightly closed because otherwise we would be totally seen. No elevator. The breakfast is good, somewhat scarce, but with the addition that they prepare eggs to your liking.

Central hotel and friendly attention.

This hotel has no elevator and no one working there most of the time who looks like they could assist with a heavy bag.  Not much floor space left over once the double bed is in the room, and "suites" are just slightly larger rooms with bathtubs and fridges encroaching on the modest space there is to spare.  We had the mild misfortune of having our visit coincide with a school dance, so Friday evening was noisy until 10.  Desk staff very pleasant.  Breakfast routinely accompanied by a TV blaring some inane morning show.

Not sure how they earned their third star.

Good care and very good location, very close to the Plaza Mayor. Simple hotel, but with a lot of noise if you can accommodate yourself in one of the rooms facing the main street. No good curtains and a lot of light. American breakfast acceptable.

A family member from abroad stayed at this hotel and I must mention the excellent attention from all the staff who work there.Everyone worked hard to provide the best possible service.No complaints.Very good service and very good attention.

Korianka is a hotel that I already knew: impeccable, pulcro, friendly attention, availability of Wi-Fi, PC, among others.The price is reasonable (for those who like to stay a few days and have a comfortable place above average) however given the season a problem is the ventilation (very hot in summer and the standard rooms have a small fan that doesn't help much).One suggestion: install air conditioning, thus earning the sky and the loyalty of customers.Another suggestion: apparently the beverage bar is closed, it would be good to re-open it.

Custom service in the historic center of the city, is three blocks from the Trujillo Armory, two blocks from the Ministry of Culture, one and a half blocks from the traditional candy store, one block from the pedestrian walkway where the cafes and restaurants for tourists are located, two blocks from the typical northern food restaurants, one block from the supermarket, quiet enough to sleep and rest comfortably, living room to receive other people, really comfortable.

Korianka Hotel makes you feel at home.

Best thing of this hotel is the location. Right in the middle of everything.
Staff poorly trained and clumsy. They forgot to clean our room and forgot to wake us up.
No swimming pool as advertised, no room service, & very limited breakfast.

Not quite three stars hotel

Small hotel (with one honeymoon suite, though), really inexpensive, situated on a (relatively) calm central historical street in Trujillo. Clean rooms, adequate breakfast. On the way to the central square, you'll find several restaurants and cafés (one historical with antique rooms, furniture, inside court- sorry I forgot the name) and an old toys' museum.

Korianka is frequented by peruvians and inland business travellers. It's located in town but does not belong to the most centrally located hotels of Trujillo. It faces front to a busy street, back to a school. We experienced Korianka minimalistic at the service and the breakfast. The functional rooms offer anything you basically need but aren't the cleanest. WiFi access isn't quite reliable. Apart from the big entrance hall we missed some atmosphere and room for the price - but well - Trujillo isn't the cheapest place to stay in Peru.
Positive is the 24h desk attendance (spanish speaking only).

Judgment can 't be positive, rooms are scarce breakfast, rooms on the street are very noisy, rooms in the back with a very ugly view and a lot of confusion that comes from some kind of school / boarding house nearby.
